Ccc - Clay's Canucks Commentary For April 13, 2012: Kings 4 Canucks 2 (Game 2 Reaction)

The Los Angeles Kings have taken the first two games of their playoff series with the Vancouver Canucks by posting consecutive 4-2 victories at Rogers Arena.

In game 2 on a freaky Friday the 13th, the Kings' special teams play was indeed special as they scored 2 short-handed goals and 1 power play goal. Meanwhile, the Canucks went 0 for 5 with the man advantage.

Now the Canucks have the daunting task of winning 4 out of the next 5 games. Is it possible? Or course. Is it likely? Even as the most loyal (yet rational Canucks fan)...that ones' tougher to answer.

Game 3 goes Sunday night in LA.

AV needs to start coaching if not a repeat of last year but no game seven winner takes all...out first round! If so than say good bye to AV.

Two down two to go. Is the writing on the wall? Another Lost opportunity this playoff season? Blow up the team?

Why? The twins are 32 next year. When are their due date for a trade? 35? Further a trade of the Twins make it even harder, since they are a package. One is only good with the other as we have seen so far.

Simply put LA has outworked Van, Quick outplayed Lou. Lou looked like a beached whale again. If they go with Cory next game then it is time to trade Lou next year.

Also Hodgons trade, a bad trade, will rank with the Neely trade of years past. Where is the secondary scoring now?

Van gone in 4.

It would be a shame if the twins go. They've taken a lower salary to play here and they've done so much for the community. Any team would take them in a heartbeat. I don't see them leaving Vancouver ever. And the secondary scoring was supposed to be Booth, Higgy, Hansen, Kesler and maybe Pahlsonn.
