Realistic Players I would want from a Luongo deal

Shawn Matthias

Matthias would give the Canucks a more offensive minded 3rd line center (like Hodgson was). He could also fill in on the 2nd while Kesler is out and play as the 2nd PP center.

Clarke MacArthur

MacArthur would give the Canucks a solid 3rd line offensive winger who could play on the PP. MacArthur would not be the solution to the offence but if they sign Doan:

or something like that

Andrew Shaw

Shaw would help with Gillis saying he wants the team to get younger, he could be a good 3rd line winger and could be a good screen on the PP.

Same here, except from FLA, I would want Bjugstad. Matthias would be my 2nd choice.

Fla: Bjugstad and/or Howden
Wsh: Troy Brouwer and/or Karl Alzner
Chi: Dave Bolland

I wouldn't mind a Luongo, Raymond for Matthias, Theodore, 1st deal.

The day we are happy with 3rd line players in a luongo deal, it means it's a very very very sad day.

Not just them. High picks and prospects would also be in the deal.

What about Columbus? Heard from Hockeybuzz as a possible trading partner as well as TO & FLA.
