It's like deja vu all over again. We had this debate all last year about the D and when Salo returned. Sometimes, these things have a funny way of working themselves out.

Personally, I think Raymond is going to need a fair bit of time to catch up with the team. He can likely do that from the 3rd or 4th line.

For that matter, I think we worry too much about fitting into cookie cutter roles for our lines. What if we tried something a little different, a little more aggressive and let other teams try to figure out a way to deal with it? The Canucks likely have enough talent to field a couple of lines that fit the typical 2nd line mold. They could go with a 1st, 2nd-A, 2nd-B and 3rd lines.

By the time other teams figure out how to deal with it, the Canucks could be well on their way.

It is an amazing thought thinking of a line with Kesler, Booth and Raymond. That's a lot of speed! However, you have to wonder if someone like Hodgson or Higgins (more playmakers) should be inserted somewhere in there?
