This is the logic behind a trade.

People get a little excited when they hear rumours about a big trade, but when it actually makes PERFECT sense for the Canucks Playoff needs RIGHT NOW, then people start getting really excited.

It likely won't happen, and will just fizzle over like any other trade rumour. But man, can you imagine? Dreaming about a first line of Sedin Sedin Perry is half the fun in itself.

Saying that the Canucks are willing to package up a player in a trade is about one step below an unsubstantiated rumour.

Since the Gretzky trade, pretty much every GM is willing to deal any player if the right deal is available.

Why didn't you just stick with the 100+ post thread that this topic came from?

i would like to see the canucks trade raymond + connauton or raymond + 2nd round pick to winnipeg for defencemen zach bogosian + forward blake wheeler. what are you thoughts?

If so, take your goggles off. That deal wouldn't even come close to getting Bogosian, and you want Wheeler aswell. Wow, this place never suprises.

have you ever seen connauton play? he is amazing a good young uprising star. we dont need raymond, and wheeler produces the same as raymond, but hes 6'5". take it for what its worth, it was a suggestion, not a real possibility, shut your mouth!
