You make me laugh, so our 3rd line is going to be Unproven Gaudette, Virtanen and Leivo eh (GIVE US THE CUP MEOW!) All 3 of these guys needing new contracts at the moment. Leivo will be signing for 2mill MINIMUM. And the other 2 guys will either prove themselves and also get 2mill+ or be out of jobs. You're putting in the best case scenario dollar amount, but if that's what these guys sign for it would be because they had terrible years. Also you have just Demko in net who is also unproven, he's either going to prove himself and demand big money the year after or we're going to have to sign a goalie in free agencies which also won't be cheap. All the while still having Loui signed for 2 more years and 2 4th liners making 3mill+ Petey is going to be getting 8-10mill and Hughes assuming he lives up to expectations the same. We now have JT miller and Myers signed long term, 2 guys who were 2nd/3rd line players on their respective teams. They are going to cause issues trying to sign our bonafide superstars. And we traded away a 1st round pick for one of them.... but yeah keep thinking you know everything just like GMJB! PS that 2020/2021 lineup you made makes me want to cry.... MOVE ALONG

Exactly, yet people here do. It's comical really, how many 2nd/3rd round picks has Benning traded away? He throws them around like candy, for guys like Linden Vey... so many things he's done wrong but people ignore them because he drafted Petey - which most scouts had around the 5 range so it wasn't that amazing.

I'm not sure what more I need to say as far as math and analysis, it's really quite simple. We have 17mill cap space. 14 of it will be on Brock and more than likely Myers (If GMJB get's his way) we also need to re-sign Hutton and Leivo. The year after that Stetcher is going to be getting a raise and assuming Virtanen becomes the player you seem to think he will that's another player needed a new contractor. Guadette as well. Year after that Petey and Hughes getting paid big big $$$ - do you see how quickly cap space get's out of hand? Am I saying i'm a cap genuis? No but it seems like some GM's don't look to the future and get themselves into a lot of trouble. GMJB is trending in that direction.

I disagree with you on everything, however I respect your opinions. I will end it at this, don't be short sighted when it comes to cap space. More than likely the Canucks are going to over pay for a UFA this summer, and Brock is about to get 7mill. Cap space troubles come fast and furious if you're not careful, assume we sign Myers at 7mill and Brock at 7mill we're close to the max cap space and the issues will begin. Have a good day =]

He signed Loui Erikkson to a 6x6 deal He signed Brandon 4th line Sutter to a 5 year deal at huge money He Drafted Virtnanen over Nylander and Ehlers (both of who CDC basically unanimously wanted) Traded away McCann for Erik Pylon Gudbranson Drafted Juolevi over Tkachuk (everybody wanted Tkachuk) Signed Beagle and Roussell to 4 year deals to join the Sea of Granlunds Signed Schaller.... Who? Now he's traded away a potential lottery pick for a minor upgrade to Leivo. Am I missing anything?
