  1. [PGT] Calgary 4 Vancouver 1 Feb 6, 2016

My God, a top 5 pick might actually be possible for this team.
  2. [PGT] Blue Jackets 2 vs Canucks 1

Trade deadline can't come quick enough.
  3. (Discussion) Justin Schultz

http://thecanuckway.com/2016/02/03/vancouver-canucks-trade-proposal-baertschi-schultz/ One of the worst articles I've ever had the displeasure of reading.
  4. [Report] Dennis Wideman suspended 20 games

Almost like Henderson skated into the path of a player with a full head of steam.
  5. [Report] Dennis Wideman suspended 20 games

Like I addressed earlier how do you explain the checking motion? Given that there was indeed a deliberate motion towards hitting the referee and that the medical stuff deemed he was not "woozy" enough to be removed from play, certainly seems to suggest the nature of the intent. Whether that is true or not, is well, irrelevant. Despite your personal feelings on the subject, the evidence can be pretty clearly interpreted to suggest intent, and that's what the DOPS likely based their suspension on.
  6. [Report] Dennis Wideman suspended 20 games

You can indict a player for that, being that the organization did not claim responsibility, leading the NHL to believe he was aware of his actions.
  7. [Report] Dennis Wideman suspended 20 games

Speculation, and less apparent than the motion of the check which was likely taken as more indicative of intent.
  8. [GDT] 2016 NHL All-Star Skills Competition

I was going to joke about still whining about the Neely trade. Does that mean I can still be excited about the Naslund trade?
  9. [GDT] 2016 NHL All-Star Skills Competition

Yea, and I started missing Schneids after hearing his own shootout commentary.
  10. [GDT] 2016 NHL All-Star Skills Competition

Indeed, I was probably make more of this than need be. Apologies. Though I would lastly point out Petr Mrazek, James Reimer, and Brayden Holtby as being better than Luongo for EC goalies. Though I suppose age would be an important factor for consideration.
  11. [GDT] 2016 NHL All-Star Skills Competition

Pretty easily. But can you care to explain how expressing remorse over losing these two Allstar goalies is relevant at this juncture? Something that happened several years ago. Something that has nothing to do with current management. Something that was due to the extenuating circumstances at the time. Something that was essentially rectified by the return it wrought. I see no rhyme or reason to what you posted, except maybe to find something new to whine about. Let it go already.
  12. [GDT] 2016 NHL All-Star Skills Competition

I am mocking that loss of two Allstar goalies by pointing out the selections are not always the best goalies, especially in today's game.  Not only that but ridiculing you for being upset over "losing two Allstars" (as if we just gave them up), when we have Markstrom who is entering his prime and has a .923% (the same as another "allstar" John Gibson) and Demko in the pipeline. Especially given the circumstances for which we "lost" them, that is, losing Luongo for, you guessed it, Markstrom. And losing Schneider for Horvat. So what point are you trying to make exactly? That we shouldn't have made our team better by moving our depth at a single position?
  13. [GDT] 2016 NHL All-Star Skills Competition

You sure are. Markstrom pulling a .923% at 25 years old is apparently something to sneer at according to you.
  14. [GDT] 2016 NHL All-Star Skills Competition

Darn, if we only we had Rinne and his allstar .906%
