  1. With this forum coming to a close, I’ll help add a post to get this to hopefully reach 4 pages. If this wasn’t gonna end, there would be like 12 pages already. The organization did him dirty with that surgery. Plus, Jimbo shouldn’t have given him that 3 year contract. It would have been better if he was traded to Montreal and join Toffoli during that 2021 Cup run that they didn’t win. Maybe it could have been different. It won’t be the same coming back, especially Bo is no longer in the team. But I did enjoy the whole team during the bubble playoffs of 2020 and Pearson was apart of it.
  2. Feels like going into a new house in Richmond after the original house was demolished in the same property. Plus, it has black skate jersey colours. Don’t know if I’ll sign up, but I’ll be reading here and there.
  3. I was here during the peak of the WCE. Didn’t post a lot. Plus, I stopped coming here until 4 years ago before COVID. All Canucks and hockey news, I checked here. I’ve lived here in San Jose since 1990, so Canucks is the only thing that keeps me connected to Vancouver. I was disappointed in seeing the Sharks message boards like a ghost town for a long time. Bay Area isn’t really hockey crazy. Therefore, I was happy Canucks has a better foundation for their fan base. Twitter or X has limited text, so discussions aren’t in depth, but toxic fans keep insulting. I like the various sub folders. The prospects is great because I can read about these young players and when they became apart of the team. Trade proposals can be ridiculous, but I laugh every time someone suggests trading 1st round picks. The bickering here is more exciting than a 30 second Mike Tyson fight. Thank you all for making this a great place on the internet. Message boards are a dying breed and will fade away like instant messagers and chat rooms.
  4. Honeymoon takes place where Garland gets traded too.
  5. I guess it's a slow days for real Canucks news and some posters here decided to talk about inches amongst the players. Luckily this is not discussed on Twitter because it would never go anywhere despite the discussion will never end. Imagine if Jesse Puljujarvi joined the Canucks.
  6. I was wondering why this old Poolman thread was bumped up. I was at a wedding gig earlier ironcially. Well, 40 years ago July 30, 1982, The Last American Virgin was released in theaters. In this movie somebody said "the man who's got the biggest tool, he's the one who wins the pool".
  7. Even though the NHL decided not to do the Olympics despite planning to, I don't like the break so that players can play with their respective countries. Players don't need to get injured or even now get COVID if it is non-NHL games. How about if a team was doing good until their players got hurt during the Olympics and kept losing as they resumed their season? I hope the talks of doing a World Cup during the middle of the season doesn't happen. That's what summer/offseasons are for. NHL seasons are already too long and are sandwiched between NFL and NBA seasons. The first Olympics break happened in 1998, in the 1997-98 season where Mark Messier played his first seasons with the Canucks. They also had to play their first 2 regular season games in Japan. Regular season games should never be in other countries outside of North America. That's what preseason games are for. Besides, Canada doesn't always win the gold in Olympic hockey.
  8. https://twitter.com/Igor_LarionovII/status/1439724699328475138?s=20 Igor Larionov II unfortunatley was not able to get his chance. He also didn't say which team, especially if it was for the Canucks. I know Podz needs a Russian buddy, even then, I always wished Igor can be a Canuck like his dad.
  9. Is he a good fit if the Canucks ever do need a new coach?
