I never really knew what the beef with the post game show on 1040 was until I was listening yesterday after the Oilers game. Oh my God was that horrible. The host (don't know his name) never took any of the caller's opinions seriously and just bashed at them whenever anyone said anything that wasn't in line with his opinion.

Some guy was ranting about splitting the twins up, Patterson kept telling him that yes that might work 6 years ago, but the guy kept saying yes it would, and so on. Patterson is a guy who comes across as a real know it all, like most of the hosts on 1040, Pratt, Sekeres, Price, and the Moj. The game was very good live, and not really a dominating performance from McJesus, but he sure does have that extra gear. The Canucks were very unlucky to get anything past Talbot, and deserved better.

@johngould21 exactly. Patterson kept cutting him off and I was getting furious that he wouldn't let the guy finish. He kept saying "You're not listening to me. Hear me out." But Patterson never let the guy finish and he hung him up. It was very obvious that Patterson wasn't listening to the caller (which is what he's suppose to do) because I'm pretty sure the caller was trying to say that splitting the twins up would distribute the playmakers on different lines. Daniel for sure is no longer a sniper that he once was and he's become a pass first kind of guy so the caller was trying to make the point, but Patterson kept bantering on and on saying that the twins are not the twins from 6 years ago (obviously).
