  1. I remember the days when Tinypic, Photobucket, and Imageshack were all free and very user friendly. I'm glad Tinypic lasted as long as it did keeping the same layout.
  2. Seems like Burakovsky is getting a qualifying offer after all: https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2019/06/25/capitals-qualify-restricted-free-agent-forward-andre-burakovsky/?utm_term=.6140aac1281c
  3. If you've owned an Android phone, there's no reason why you should claim an iPad is more superior than an Android tablet. Sure, performance wise and longevity, the iPad may outlast and outperform a Samsung tablet 5 years from now, but the iPad is just as restricted as the iPhone. You're only allowed to download apps from the App store. You can't really customize how your tablet looks and you're stuck with the bland vanilla iPad design. You're restricted with the amount of storage on your iPad as there is no microSD slot. The only difference between an Android tablet and an iPad is basically user preference. Both offer great features and both have their negatives. It comes down to what you're REALLY using the tablet for. As a side note, I have (and am currently using it as I type) a MacBook Pro 13 inch from early 2011 and it's still going strong to this day. Not as fast as it used to be initially but it's only a few seconds delay on loading up applications and the Finder window. It's a shame that when Steve Jobs passed away, the intuitiveness and creativity that was Apple also died with it and started a downward trend despite what the sales and profits show.
  4. Seemed like the NFL draft took forever to come after free agency started
  5. I wonder why AFC let Von Miller throw in the accuracy competition? Didn't have a better non QB option?
  6. For the next 3 hours, I am a Chargers fan. GO BOLTS!
  7. When was Brady ever mobile? Besides, our o-line has been needing work for years. Great on the run but pass protection is hit or miss thus not allowing Brady to hang in the pocket longer to throw the long passes
  8. Only players with No Movement Clauses need to be automatically protected. In this case, Eriksson will not need to be automatically protected.
  9. I don't have a narrative? Loads of people hype up Rodgers but at some point, he should be the one calling the shots since he's on the field and has a much better vantage point than the HC/playcaller. If he's so elite, he should've called an audible and not just go with what the coach says. Then again, Roethlisberger called out his OC for a bonehead play as well....
  10. I didn't bother watching the game but I'm going to assume this was a rush inside the middle? If Rodgers is such a great QB, he should've called an audible for a toss on the outside or a play action and have the bottom receiver fake a block then run out flat for the first down. Can't always be McCarthy calling the shots. At some point, the QB has to take responsibility for reading the defence.
  11. Everything is just so ominous about it. Same leg injury. Both were injured from tackles by former DPOY. Both were injured on the 39 yard line (not the same position on the field but same yard line). Nearly the same age (Theismann 35 at the time, Smith 34). This injury is a career ender for Smith. Will likely never be the same even if he does attempt a comeback. Thiesmann had to retire a year later because his leg never grew back the same (actually ended up shorter than his other leg) and could no longer play at the speed/level he was at. Unfortunate to have it happen on a guy like Smith who is a stand-up guy.
  12. Anytime you think it could be questionable, you challenge it. The challenge can act like a timeout anyways. Get your team settled down and focused.
  13. Even if Belichick didn't go for it, he would've challenged the catch. That's a huge blunder on McCarthy and his staff up in the box for not challenging that catch
  14. Titans came to play and the Pats didn't. Offence couldn't put together drives and the D did everything they could to stay in the game. Looked like the team was more interested in the bye week coming up than actually winning and playing the game.
  15. Well the Jets suck... Luckily for me I'm more than likely to win my matchup this week. Also, what a poor game from the Pats today. Looked like they were not interested in the game and just wanted to head into the bye.
  16. God damn Vance. Put up 8.4 points.... Herndon better have a field day or I'm going to regret not going for Vance. My opponent has JuJu and AB and he's already up 28pts because of their performances tonight.
  17. I think I'll take a gamble on Herndon. He's been playing solid the past few weeks and I don't want to take a chance on a team that's playing on a headline night. Hope Vance doesn't burn my decision tomorrow.
  18. Vance McDonald or Jesse James for TE? I need a TE for my bye week this week and there's no good TE's available aside from Hooper who's on waiver until Saturday.
  19. Here's hoping Amari Cooper can put up 24 yards or more tomorrow night for my fantasy team's sake.
  20. No I understand that. It's just shady business practice and loads of people have already submitted complaints to the Competition Bureau who are investigating at the moment. Although seems like now that they have "stock" so are slowly but surely shipping them out one by one
  21. So I'm guessing none of you pre-ordered from Amazon and went through B&M stores like EB Games and Best Buy? Because those who preordered at E3 promos last year and the year before from Amazon are getting completely screwed over by the trillion dollar company we like to call Amazon.
  22. Have a feeling teams weren't willing to bite on what Belichick was offering. Rumour was Belichick wanted Denver to eat some of DT's cap which obviously they weren't willing to do. I also don't think Belichick felt like Tate was worth the 3rd (of course, worst comes to worst they get it back via compensatory but its still a hefty price to pay)
  23. Two big trades so far... Demaryius Thomas to Texans.... who they play this Sunday. Golden Tate to Philly.
  24. When they showed the replay from the field/QB's perspective, you could see the pick coming...
