I don't ever recall a game well officiated by this guy.  That hook on Pettersson last night was one of the most flagrant demonstrations of his complete incompetence.  When Pettersson hit Hall later in the game I figured he was getting five and a game, then couldn't help laugh he calls Hall for diving.  I think this guy may actually rig these games.

I'm sure there are dozens of equally awful first round picks.

@Tortorella's Rant The return of Brad Lukowich and Christian Ehrhoff made that one easier to swallow. For me it was Nathan Smith.followed by RJ Umberger. After getting Bryan Allen and the Sedins the 2 years before, they NEEDED to load up on young talent after the 90's team was dismantled. RJ Umberger holding out because he wanted 1 million dollars and we get Marty Rucinsky and Martin Grenier out of it. Sweet. No return for Nathan Smith and he was only ever known for his indecent exposure while with Pittsburgh, I believe.

Jets are in a desperate situation.  Most of their rds have little NHL experience and now the left side is looking pretty grim.  The Pysyk rumour makes me wonder if the Nucks are thinking about moving Tanev.  The Jet's desperation could garner a very nice return, I suspect.

I've actually been fairly impressed by some of The Athletic's coverage of the Canucks.  There are have been some pretty good articles on there and since you can edit your preferences, you don't get bombarded by Leafs crap.

Not writing, but The Hockey Guy on YouTube covers all the teams pretty fairly.
