I'm not judging them until the end of the summer. They still have moves to make before friday and then in the summer. I personally liked the Hronek trade. I think everyone is way overvaluing those picks. We got a RHD about to hit his prime. We aren't rebuilding so the move had to be made. Personally I think the only two D that are back next season are Hughes and now Hronek. The bottom 4 I think will all be new players. Myers traded after July 1 bonus and OEL will be bought out Edit - also to everyone saying we need defensive defenceman, we will get that. But we also needed PMD. Without Hughes we have no transition game and struggle to get the puck up the ice

60 point wingers aren't had for 3.5 million. Pens just traded a second for Granlund who is 5 years older than Brock. They have almost identical numbers (Boeser has 2 more goals both have 27 assists). Granlund is making 5 million. You could argue Boeser is overpaid by about 1-1.5 million, I have no arguments. But to say dead money as well simply isn't accurate
