  1. I think the embarrassment was enough of a punishment for this guy. Being fired from your job because a PRIVATE conversation got leaked is ridiculous. The Capitals virtue signaling by cutting him is pathetic. I'd love to see the panic on the faces of the ones in here cheering this on if your private messages were ever made public.
  2. Why is Virtanen on a line with Motte and Sutter???? I'm done. I'm on the "Fure Green" train now. The guy us incompetent. Done.
  3. Be careful with threads like this. There is a certain poster in here that might get all up in his feels when talking negatively about Boston. In all seriousness, the guy is a dirt bag. Always has been. Speaking of dirt bags, did any of you catch that skate to the face on a former Bruin last night? The one that injured Mason Raymond with a dirty play in the 2011 SCF? Ouch.
  4. Go cheer for Boston somewhere. Nobody cares about a Bruin fan's opinion.
  5. Well, didn't take long for a new coach. I'm sure they were in talks with DeBoer before Gallant got canned. https://www.nbcsports.com/bayarea/sharks/golden-knights-hire-peter-deboer-head-coach-fire-gerard-gallant The Vegas Golden Knights announced that coach Gerrard Gallant and assistant Mike Kelly have been relieved of their duties, and former Sharks coach Peter DeBoer has been named to the top spot. NEWS The Golden Knights have made the following coaching changes: Gerard Gallant & Mike Kelly have been relieved of their coaching duties Peter DeBoer has been named head coachhttps://t.co/rQsULKgYzR — Vegas Golden Knights (@GoldenKnights) January 15, 2020 "In order for our team to reach its full potential, we determined a coaching change was necessary," Golden Knights general manager Kelly McCrimmon said in a statement. "Our team is capable of more than we have demonstrated this season. We would like to thank Gerard and Mike for their service to the Vegas Golden Knights. They were both instrumental to the success we have enjoyed in our first two-plus seasons and we wish them all the best moving forward. "In Peter DeBoer, we have a proven, experienced head coach who we believe can help us achieve our ultimate goal. We are excited to welcome Peter and his family to the Vegas Golden Knights organization. We look forward to a strong finish to the 2019-20 season with Peter at the helm and a successful tenure in the seasons to come." DeBoer was fired by the Sharks on Dec. 12 after a rough start, leaving players shocked and stunned. The move to fire Gallant comes amid a four-game losing streak for the Golden Knights that currently has them sitting on the outside of the playoff picture looking in. Gallant has coached the Golden Knights since the franchise's inaugural season, leading them to the Stanley Cup Final in their first season and winning the Jack Adams Award as NHL Coach of the Year. He is replaced by a man he once called a "clown." The Sharks elected to let DeBoer go after the Sharks opened the season 15-16-2. The final straw was a four-game road trip that saw San Jose go 0-3-1, signaling to general manager Doug Wilson that it was time for a change in the locker room. In four-plus seasons leading the Sharks, DeBoer accumulated a 198-129-34 record while leading San Jose to four straight playoff appearances. DeBoer goes from one side of the heated Western Conference rivalry to the other. The Sharks and Golden Knights have met in playoffs in each of the past two seasons. Vegas knocked off DeBoer's Sharks in the 2018 Western Conference second round, while San Jose won an epic seven-game first-round series last year. DeBoer getting the Golden Knights job adds another wrinkle into what has been a heated and contentious rivalry.
  6. Very nice! Who said BBQ is only for the Summer time?!!
  7. My pretty Sadie girl. She's a rescue. 100% Bull Terrier.
  8. Christmas Eve applewood smoked ribs. 2 hours in, looking GUUD!
  9. Yup! Thanks! Me, a kerosene heater, and electric heater make it about 65-68F in here when it's 20°F outside. Add the 55 inch flat screen, hard wired to the modem with the NHLtv service and a quality cigar and I'm in heaven. Took a bit to get it all together, adding on here and there but well worth the wait. If you're ever in the DC area, come on by! I have a second zero gravity chair and a fine cigar for ya!
  10. I will finish my cigar happier than a pig in shhhhh.... Merry Christmas!
  11. All 175 pounds of Petey?? . Even the goalie diving. Get that man a pair of Speedos!!
  12. Unreal. No call for blatant holding the stick but Rousell gets called for weak ass interference.
  13. Finished product after resting. That juice....
  14. Smoked this 7 pound pork loin with applewood for a few hours on the ole' Weber Kettle. Sauced it a bit for the last 20 min. Juicy and tender all the way through.
  15. Out here in Craps country with my head held high! I got soooo much crap from the last game between these two, with that crazy 5-1 lead that got blown. So happy for this win!
  16. When the hell is Green going to put Virtanen out in OT? You'd think by now he'd notice that speed is a huge advantage in the 3 on 3.
  17. You've obviously never served. Either that or I got the shaft when I did because this is just plain idiocy and/or ignorance.
  18. Canucks win - check Demko was a beast - check Cigar- check Bourbon - check 5 of 6 points on the road- check Sharts lose - check. Life is good. .
  19. Never understood the fascination with it. I'll stick to my cigars on weekends.
  20. In the short term, it did. But the Provisional Government that was attempted to be installed did not last long at all for many reasons. Most notably because the minds of the Russian people were not ready to accept communism. That's why Gramsci's plan is genius and is working so successfully. Get the minds of the upcoming generations, especially in the learning institutions, and what you have is minds that WANT communism instead of trying to force it on people that will ultimately reject it.
  21. Yeah, most private schools are religious based. I'm not a fan of the government being involved in education as much I'm not a fan of religion getting involved either. The public education system is mere indoctrination guised as education. Same goes for religious based learning institutions. They're both based on fear. Do whal you're told or else. (go to prison, go to hell). I'm all for holistic intelligence curriculum as opposed to outcome based learning, which comes directly from the Frankfurt School, a Marxist ideology that uses the "long march through the institutions" plan by Antonio Gramsci to implement communism through societal influence rather than by brute force, which is why the Bolshevik Revolution ultimately failed... But I digress.... Either way you look at it, public/religious education is dangerous.
  22. I love my guns. They've never killed anyone. Ironic that you hint at book banning (burning books actually, which actually happened to erase factual history from the tyrannical government) is directly succeeded by banning the people's right to defend themselves against a tyrannical government. You know, our 2nd Amendment protects our 1st. But you need to accept responsibility and have courage to actually defend it before you can acknowledge that. Cowards everywhere!! Muh gubment will protect me! Do yourself a favor and look up.something called Democide. It boggles my mind how something that has nothing to do with "Murica" and everything to do with religion is conflated. Yup. Guns will never be banned here bc is yanks understand that an disarmed population are mere slaves. Molon Labe.
  23. Pork chops on the grill with my hommade rub, mashed potatoes and grilled squash. Came out awesome.
