      I didn't know Ovie was wanting that much.  There's definitely a balance between wanting to get paid while also having cap room for solid surrounding players.

    I'm tired of war. These 19 yrs, have been a hangover for 20th C abuses, it sometimes feels.

     

    Forget about this or that nation. What about the planet, & all humanity? Happiness happens to live alongside peace & love..Gee, isn't THAT a revelation!

     

    It's all Orwellian manipulation. Ceremony/sport/media meld into one.

      I hear ya, man.  I hate it too.  Governments always find a way to manipulate nations into killing each other.   It's disgusting, and when you think about the money being made by both sides...  It's downright evil.  General Smedley Butler knew what it was all about (money) and he explains it succinctly in his book "War is a Racket".  He was WAY before his time.

    I mean, I get it, but I don't like how Sedin Talk reverted back to Canucks Talk.   

     

    Drank a couple severals for Burr tonight, what a cat; ECHL + ball hockey star to Sedin triplet. If he communicates the game as well as he thinks it then he'll make a good coach for the Habs farm club.

    Could any of you friendly folk from the north explain to this yank why Edmonton is such a bad city?  I am just curious because I never knew it was looked at as "the arse hole of Canada".
