But combine his skating with his mediocre minor league production… and the fall in the draft… and the fact that he hasn’t produced at any pro level. I mean he could still be a fine nhl player. Oh just have a weird feeling this kid is not gonna pan out. It’s just that the comment on his skating scares the heck out of me. I hope I am wrong but I honestly can’t remember the last average skater who can hold down a regular top 6 spot in the nhl. Boeser was the last guy who did but now…….

Dermott, bear, Stillman etc. are guys that don’t move the needle at all. They are just third pairing guys on a bad team and basically 7/8 on a good team. We only have one good top 4 d man on this team. It’s sad

I bet Boeser asked for a trade a long time ago which is understandable given his dads situation before his passing and etc. I think his play over the last few years is sort of a symptom of him wanting out. He plays with zero effort, zero intensity, zero interests, and slow as snail in quicksand. It’s clear that he doesn’t even try anymore. Just trade him already and grant him his wish. He probably signed the three year deal because that just made the most sense for him.
