Personal bias? Personal agenda against Brock? Or maybe I can give you the truth. Brock has been given prime time opportunity for the past 2 years. But he is playing like shit and there is no indication that he will get out of it and there is nothing, absolutely nothing, that the coaches can do to correct this. Bruce has given him an 80 game leash to play up to par. No one on this roster has that long of a leash ever. It’s simple and straight forward. Yet we have illusions posters on here insisting Brock is a great player. This is really funny. 6.65 million, coaster, doesn’t score, doesn’t defend, doesn’t make good plays. Minus 14. And for some odd ball reason, some people here thinks he is still somehow a legit goal scorer just in a minor slump and uses his secondary assists as a measure of his success.

Produce offense he has not. 4 goals after 1/4 of the season and you guys call him sniper/pure goal scorer.

Produce means to produce. Didn’t say it has to be point production. Stop playing stupid word games when you know full well what the argument is.

Signing him was a bad decision. Why? Because me along with A WHOLE BUNCH of others saw this coming. Brock simply has been sucking since his back injury. Sometimes you have to cut your loss and fold your hand. There was no taker for Brock, there will not be another taker for Brock for “value” unless he magically scores 30 again (which will not happen). So what are you doing here - 19 million dollars paid for three useless years. That’s it. The problem with the new management is that at the time of signing they didn’t see enough of him play. Thinking it was some sort of a down year for him. No, it wasn’t.

He scored 23 goals last year while staying relatively healthy and playing too 6 and pp1. That screams mediocre and below average at best. Other aspects of his game has been horrendous to say the least so his only value is to score and produce points. He isn’t even doing that, so what’s the use of this player? Hence the press box he goes.

2020 was a covid year and he barely did anything spectacular. 2017 was his pre injury year. Everything went down hill for him and he has sucked since the back injury. I don’t understand how people can’t see that. It’s on the management to make difficult decisions instead with just going with the flow. Giving Brock 6 million is a joke. People always worry about Myers. Boeser’s contract is way way worse because of the timing of horvat and Miller contracts. So gad Brock is finally where he belongs - press box.

Boeser is the worst player on the team right now. So why is it weird to sit your weakest player who gives close to zero effort? No idea what you are saying is weird lol

This has been so obvious for the past year(S) but the management gave him a free 6 million contract. What happens once you get that amount of cash? Do you still wanna work when all your life problems are solved? Boeser not only sucks at hockey right now. He just plain stopped working period and is clearly the worst player on the team by the eye test. He does his usual thing, show up, make a few easy plays, sweat a bit like you would after a short jog around the park, go home.

I have a feeling this team can finally put a string of good games now that Martin is the clear no.1. Yes, I do believe the Canucks record reflects the poor goaltending and the defense. But goaltending has been so brutal this season.

This regime is doing terrible. No explanation needed. They plain suck

Well it’s never demko, is it ever.

We have to stop existing in the past. Demko sucks so bad this year is not even funny. His mental game is so fragile that one goal is enough to completely throw him off. If you watched him enough you know how one goal will completely open the floodgates and he will be out of position, unable to control rebounds, all over the ice. It’s not luck or just defensive lapses.
