  1. I'm from Castlegar and this statement checks out!
  2. I really think the bolded is a good idea
  3. I recently figured out about the ignore list, and after putting only one user on it, I instantly started enjoying CDC so much more.

Ahh crap, Joe.. All the funnies of "the wife drives me nuts" seem so shallow when she's gone.

I was stoked to send the wife and kids away for a week to visit the in-laws in Ontario while I went on work trip then had the house to myself for a few days. I missed her fuss about everything and the noise of the kids, but I did still enjoy it, because she came back.

Ain't no sunshine when she's gone, eh. Well Joe, we all love ya man :)

  5. You should look at the height listed in cm to confirm or deny your calculation. It clearly says 198 cm and that, converted to the imperial system in term of feet is 6.496 ft. This number round to 6.5 ft which is, like it was earlier stated, 6'6.
  6. where is the clip of virtanen smashing doughty?
  7. Well here's to a first cdc post. I love the canucks but haven't been found anything I could write in the hockey threads that hasn't already been said many times over. Anyways, in regards to this sign, I was born in central BC and then moved to the lower mainland this fall. I love the diversity, and I live in an extremely Hindu region of vancouver. This does not bother me, nor does it bother me that Richmond is very Chinese. What bothers me is that I had been forced to learn French in school (and read it on signs my whole life) as it is the other official language BUT people who now migrate to Canada might NOT have to LEARN ENGLISH OR FRENCH. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO COMMUNICATE WITH THEM. I CAN NOT LEARN EVERY DAM LANGUAGE THAT PEOPLE WHO MOVE HERE SPEAK. Sorry for the caps but this situation bothers me. I am the son of an immigrant to Canada so don't try saying I have zero idea what I'm talking about. IMO It's unacceptable to house a society of people who cannot communicate with one another. I also want to say I would be happy to learn Chinese or Punjabi or any other language. Its just that it should not be a requirement to live in certain parts of my own country. TLDR- Be respectful when you move to another country.
