mmmm....I hope this team finds a way to score goals, we saw what the bottom six did in the playoffs, and losing a top 6 forward will put more pressure on the bottom six to contribute. Time will tell to how this team will look like starting the season....a downward pressure on salary and term doesn't bode well for attracting good players

but 4 of those guys are off the team with Sutter, LE and others to follow....if they wanted to have this team gain valuable playoff experience maybe they should have played Juolevi, Rafferty and Brisebois a few games....cause Tanev, Stech are not here anymore...so playoff experience for those guys don't help us....good for the others (EP40, etc.) but not for our dmen.

gotta a feeling Jimmy was protecting his own ass when he signed Toffoli in order to make the playoffs and not give up a lottery pick to Tampa... and he is not making friends as he goes....Linden, Bracket, Stecher, Tanev.... one game, the rest was the top 6 and Horvat....Sutter was $&!# Toffoli got more points in his first game than Sutter did the entire series against the Wild and Blues. He didn't contribute much...

and keeping Sutter, LE, Rous, ...at one point in the StL series, they only had 2 pts between them and that included the Wild series.... $13M plus in cap space, these vets, who were supposed to contribute in the playoff, didn't contribute much considering how much they are getting paid to contribute....or maybe they were not expected to contribute much and only be here as cheerleaders and warm bodies. ...at least JB should have signed Toffoli to help the rookie D that are coming to play. This team needs guys who can score in their top 9 considering they were shutout 3 times vs Vegas...losing Toffolli is huge.

What has happened with Tram is best for Tram and the Canucks...to me it looks like both sides are on the same page and working together. However, time will tell.
