    Oilers are going to finish dead last this upcoming season, book it. That roster is beyond trash.

      McDavid likely demands a trade to an NHL team within the next year or so.  He'll be approaching UFA status by the time the Oilers assemble enough talent to avoid embarrassing themselves, let alone contending for the playoffs.

      @NewbieCanuckFan Edmonton had freaking McJesus, Hall, RNH, Eberle and they still couldn't make the playoffs once. What makes you think two players can do it?


      They have the same issues as they've had for so many years. They drafted the wrong players organizationally and neglected the other aspects of their team.

      How many "oil changes" do they think need before they realize that they need a new car?

      @Dazzle  Actually my post said that I don't see them finishing in last place because of those two *but* that doesn't mean I believe they will be in contention for even just a wild card spot.:)
