Ever after the pandemic I noticed this, Things went side ways real fast.

My fiancé has been suffering from panic attacks for the past 5 months and she hasn’t been able to see a psychiatrist. They told her they referred her to Vancouver mental health and we called them and no referral has been sent. We called the clinic and asked them wtf happened to our referral. They say it’s been sent months ago. So we don’t know where the referral has been, and the ER is a joke for patients (4-5 hour wait times) suffering from panic attacks unless they’re having chest pains. 

A friend of mine gave me a contact to a shady psychiatrist who gives benzos prescriptions for $150. Makes my blood boil every time I send that e-transfer but she needs Ativan or she can’t functionn

@Coconuts cool man. That’s a good plan! That’s my hometown and it’s strangely quite a bit cheaper to live then where I live now in FSJ but it’s only a 45 min drive.

Boston is afraid to qualify him because he has arbitration rights. If he wins, he gets paid $4M+ and Bruins can’t afford that. 
 

We can offer him a longer term contract such as 4 years x $2.5M as our 3C. He’s only 25 years old and fits with the age of the core.

Frederic doesn't play centre though.  He's only took 72 faceoffs last year and is not very good.  I'd play him up front on left wing with Miller similar to PDG playing there last year...

How about the Okanagan Smoke? They can play between Prospera in Kelowna and SOEC in Penticton! Close to the desert of Osoyoos. Named for the almost constant smokey summer atmosphere.

Why does it show that we suck at developing? He marinated in the AHL, got some playing time, and showed he could play before this management let him walk. 

He's really a bottom pairing guy, not quite the next Tanev we all hoped for, and I think Burroughs does the same job as him, he's not exactly the perfect partner for Hughes. Forsling on the other hand is a super star now.

Bedard is a very special player. The only GM I can see trading him for 2nd OA and a bunch of stuff is Allvin.

I came here for @King Heffy's input and I wasn't disappointed.

McDavid only has 6 more points than Petey 5 on 5. Imagine if we won the lottery and added Bedard to our power play?  I could see Petey and Bedard pushing 130 points easy. They could compete with McDavid and Draisaitl for the scoring title. 

Bigger question for me is how many cups would he have by now if he played on a real team and not Edmonton

Oh man the McDonald’s on Main & Terminal. Haven’t been there for years since I don’t work in that area anymore but it was brutal. A lot of junkies and homeless people hung out in that area. Also near the Starbucks by the skytrain station and the Burger King nearby too. I hate that area. 

For reference, Byram's played 72 NHL regular season games, he won't have a ton of leverage for a big deal. That works great for a Colorado team that needs cheaper pieces in the lineup, particularly ones who could develop into impact players. 

They don't need Podkolzin, they have Rantanen, Lehkonen, Nichushkin, and Landeskog as top six wingers. Podz and a 1st isn't going to stir the drink for their current roster more than Byram. 

The reason Byram is so valuable for Colorado is because he'll likely be cost effective given his lack of an NHL resume, his being hurt will probably work against him regarding his next contract. He's also got top four, if not top pairing upside.

Colorado's pretty much capped out as of right now and Mac's 12.6M deal will kick in next season. Their 2C, Compher, is also a pending UFA and he's up to 42 points through 61 games in a larger role. He'll need a raise from his current 3.5M and bottom line is that a team with contention aspirations in Colorado needs a 2C. 

Colorado may need to move one of Manson, Girard, or Toews to free up some cap space. They have several players they need to re-up and Johnson's expiring 6M will go directly to MacKinnon. 

Byram might be a good fit for the Canucks but moving him doesn't make a lot of sense for a cap strapped Colorado club if he can be had on a more cost effective deal, which he probably can be.

@Elias Pettersson Nah if that happens Lou is the type to kick the can down the road. Keep in mind when the league penalized the Devils for the Kovalchuk contract, everyone expected him to give up the 29th overall pick but he ended up using it to draft Matteau. He will keeping us waiting till the last possible moment then deal off the pick to acquire another player. I am hoping the Isles finish between 13-15 so he doesn't have that chance.

@Toews  Difference between the stroke Lou had with the league and Gillis (and whoever followed him).  One team gets the penalty lessened (which was an even more obvious structured contract imho) while the other remains (even with a different management team - Benning, to deal with the mess not created by him).

Let's be real, he's probably as "week to week" as Hughes was "day to day" last season. Teams lie and always gamble the health of their players to make revenue. Wouldn't be surprised if he came back early, not 100%.

Spicy. A year ago, I would've agreed, but his level of play has degraded both offensively and defensively this year and he also struggles to control himself emotionally, which is not a trait I desire in a leader.

I'm getting the feeling we're going to be completely rebuilding in a short period of time.
