@Vanuckles easy math. 0. I wonder why? I understand that teammates stand up for one another, but I also understand that the pre lusory goal of the game is to win.
-
@ReggieBush F**k your 2 points. I can't believe I have to do this, I thought fans would have a shred of team pride but here you go.
Video 1:
1) 0:39 02/05/13 2nd period of a 3-3 game - Keith stands up for MAYERS -> You know, "you've got our back, we've got yours type mentality" which I don't think you would ever understand.
2) 2:15 01/15/15 3rd period of a 2-0 game - tell me how is a 2 goal deficit so different than a 1 goal deficit in the third when there's plenty of time left
3) 4:02 10/23/13 3rd period of a 4-2 game
4) 6:25 02/04/17 3rd period of a 4-2 game
5) 7:06 03/03/13 2nd period of a 3-2 game - tail end of the second periodVideo 2:
1) 0:00 01/14/18 3rd period of a 2-0 game - Top of the 3rd period
2) 6:38 12/14/16 2nd period of a 2-2 game - Very tail end of 2nd (At 6:58 the announcer even says "This is what galvanizes a team")
3) 7:14 01/20/18 2nd period of a 2-1 game - Very tail end of 2ndI assume your argument is that it is a winnable game so we shouldn't "waste" 2 points going after him. Those are plenty of examples of still very winnable games, yet teammates protect each other.
In our scenario:
1. We are a rebuilding team2. It is OCTOBER. Game 5 of the season. So if you don't believe that we are a rebuilding team, then you believe we are good enough to fight for the playoffs - plenty of games left to make up the 2 points
3. 19 year old phenom rookie who's been carrying this god awful team 5 games into the season
And you're going to sit there and tell me that it's not worth the 2 points? It was a TIE game, we could have still lost anyways. Take your veil thin excuse and point it in someone else's direction. Oh and there's plenty more where those videos came from so I'd be happy to keep going if you would like.

Anyone remember that Rodrigo Abols kid during prospect games where he was lighting it up with us? Is it possible to sign him? Or is he part of the 2016 draft?
-
Best case scenario, we win the lottery and draft Matthews, next year, we pick top 5 and select a 1D (Timothy Liljegren).
1C Matthews
1D Lilgegren
#1 goalie Demko.

Calgary not making the playoffs and finishing near last without a 1st round pick in this years draft will make me so happy.... imagine that pick being a svechnikov, boqvist, hell even dahlin..
lol

Canucks acquire Odd. from CDC! He shall make his Nuck debut tomorrow. I'll try and run the goalie a few times, spear Brown in the fun spot, and I shall be the saviour!

CBJ winning atm 6-3. If they win and we lose tonight, hello 4th overall.

Curtis Lazar through 98 career NHL games:
8 goals, 15 assists, 23 points.
Bo Horvat through 103 career NHL games:
15 goals, 20 assists, 35 points.
Sven Baertschi through 98 career NHL games:
14 goals, 26 assists, 40 points.
Not trying to prove any point here. Just wanted to throw those specific stats out. Lazar's been having a rough season thus far I've been hearing.

Does the person you've blocked get a notification letting them know you've blocked them?

Granlund has 'some hard feelings'. Go get em Granlund!

Guys don't worry. We're going to be picking top 10 anyway. If we ain't picking top 3, were getting Dubois, Tkachuk, Chychrun etc, if were picking 8-10 then we pick Nylander, Juolevi, McLeod, etc.

Hopefully TheRussianRocket knows that his status update was suspension worthy xD

Horvat would need 14 more points in 23 games played to get to 40 points on the season. Go get it Bo!

I don't know if this means anything but Hutton (with 7 more games played than Derrick Pouliot) has more points than Pouliot).
Derrick Pouliot
(36 NHL games played, 2 goals, 6 assists).
Ben Hutton
(43 NHL games played, 1 goal, 12 assists).
For someone who I never expected to blossom the way he did, this is gorgeous. I thought he wouldn't make the NHL this year, and that he'd need 1 year in the A.

(Not saying Ben'll pan out that way for sure, but)
Even Duncan Keith was considered a long-shot to make the Hawks early in his career. In the 2004 Blackhawk prospect ranking, he was listed below Seabrook (with good reason, Brent being a 1st round pick), Anton Babchuk (another 1st round pick), James Wisniewski (5th rounder who had good showing), and several other young D prospects including Cam Barker (remember him?)
Yet here we are, and Duncan's in his 10th season, with multiple Norris Trophies, Stanley Cups and Olympic gold medals to his name, while he's an elite cornerstone player with the Hawks, and part of a star duo with Seabrook. Meanwhile, the other higher-ranked guys are either out of the league or are lesser players.
Just goes to show how you can't go by name or draft position alone, as guys can come out of nowhere and surprise. All the best to Derrick, but we got a gem with Benjamin Hutton, and hope Ben keeps developing.

I just realized. Correct me if I'm wrong, but we haven't one a playoff series since 2011.

@-Vintage Canuck- The Oilers haven't been in the upper half of the conference standings since Messier left.
