One of my friends is a pretty hardcore conservative, as well as being pretty racist towards native Canadians (although he has rational reasons). Anyway, he shared a picture saying, "You shouldn't be able to practice sharia here, it's wrong to come to another part of the world and indoctrinate everyone and erase the culture and set up laws that are morally wrong." Something along the lines of that.

Anyhow, I ended up commenting something like, "Yeah, the must suck, huh? " with the picture of a native chief.

He had deleted it by the next time I was on facebook  

The zoo needs to start using tranquilizers the gorilla was innocent and the mother should be in trouble. She made an innocent animal die. The zoo rescues animals for it to be safe. But it isn't...

^ The thing is, tranqs don't kick in as quick as they need to sometimes, and certain animals (I assume gorillas are one of them) become aggravated by them. So as much as it sucks, it was kinda the only option to kill the gorilla.

But yes, the mother should be in trouble. I think zoos should probably be done away with altogether.
