I'm there.  I like Benning, but if he insists on keeping the baboons we have destroying the team with their incompetent coaching, he needs to go along with Green, Baumer, and King.  Hitting Aquilini in the wallet is probably the best way to ensure we get actual coaches before it's too late.

I don't mind Benning, but if he chains himself to green and they both get the axe so be it. And if he does and we miss, he will. 

I'm just laughing at this point, it's like watching a tragic comedy.

Yeah, pizza and champagne.  When I moved more than a few years ago, it was a champagne week.  But I would recommend being as organized as possible when boxing things up and unboxing.  And having a moving company move you is great.  

Moving between countries can be a major PITA..experienced "the pleasure" 3 times.

Last time with an infant & toddler along for the ride. Fun stuff...

It’s overall fine but I don’t see an option to return straight to the home page from within a thread? I have to back out one page at a time- thread to topic to homepage. 

It might be worth switching to the Canucks (default) theme. With that you can click on 'Canucks Community' at the top to return to the home page. 

Safari and theme V4.3

@StealthNuck: I use the "Default" theme, but it automatically switches to the "Canucks v4.3" theme when it logs me out. I'm using Safari as well.

One more thing, I’m only logged out at the home page. When I tap on “Canucks Talk” or another forum, then I’m automatically logged back in. This only started to happen after the fix yesterday.

Kal Tire's good...I hate Canadian Tire.  They put tires on wrong then tried to tell me that "4wd's need tires every 6 months".  Uh...no.  They wore right out because they weren't aligned/balanced properly even though I'd paid extra for that.  Took them to an alignment shop and they gave me the print out that was almost all in the red/out!

They also sold me a battery with bad terminals....had to get my vehicle towed two days after purchase because it was dead.  They replaced the battery, admitted it was defective but wouldn't cover the $120 towing bill.  

Oh and I went to the parking lot after hours (was on my way home) and my car wasn't there!  They'd let an employee take it home over night and I ended up having rodent droppings under the hood afterward!  They said they had no room inside and felt it would be safer elsewhere/not in the parking lot!

I was furious.  

I will not go to them for any automotive service ever again.  The worst.

Haha, I couldn't help but notice that too. First- how different the roster is compared to then, and second- how much better we are. Especially with Brock not being in the lineup there, it's like two teams from different leagues.

Absolutely yeah. It's impressive when you think about how they gave us a fairly legitimate top line right up through their last game as a Canuck. They had to be sheltered and whatnot but they still provided dependable scoring.

There was a shift in that game that made me think just how great they were in understated ways. I think it was in OT. Loose puck behind the ARI net, Daniel makes a great play using his body and I think a quick stick lift to win the puck battle against a bigger D man who also happened to get to the puck in a better position than Daniel. Extends possession which I believe leads to the OT winner. 

Henrik was just throwing perfect sauce around like it was nothing. Flat as a pancake, nice spin, over then under a lane of sticks, right onto the tape. Incredible to watch.

A lot better now that it’s day 5 of the antibiotics. I think I’ll be 100% tomorrow. Hoping to go back to work either Friday or Monday if they’ll let me back sooner than the 15 day quarantine period would’ve allowed now that I’ve got a negative covid test (got that news today).

good for you @Sean Monahan I don't think you'll regret it at all, you'll be blowing  Yaris' off the road in no time. 

I've been trying a lot of cars lately, trying to find one that has a a decent plug in electric range along with AWD of some variety. Thats why I tried the Crosstrek they supposedly have one coming. I'm waiting for the Rav 4 phev to come out so I can try that one next.

Sean i think youll appreciate the practicality of the Forester.  I'm assuming it's an XT since you said it's supercharged  (they're actually turbo, not supercharged but w/e).   We have 2 Subarus in our household,  an older Impreza still going strong and a 17 Forester which, although I'm not thrilled with the cvt -especially since the Impreza is manual - ,  has done everything we've asked it to do flawlessly.   You mentioned you weren't happy with the power of the Crosstrek,  I'm wondering if the dealer informed you that the '21 model year Crosstrek's were likely getting larger motors - probably from the current Forester?  

Anyway,  enjoy the Fozzy,  my advice is to get some proper dedicated snow tires  (we use studded), and that thing will essentially be unstoppable in all but totally apocalyptic weather conditions. 

You can try resetting the network settings on your iPhone, which may delete all saved WiFi connections, and make sure Airplane Mode is turned off. 

Or rebooting your iPhone.  If you were able to connect to your WiFi on this iPhone before, perhaps the connection is still saved, and you can forget the connection.

And turning your WiFi off and on.

My Mom's has been failing hard lately...she spent an afternoon at (one of) the provider's stores and went as far as getting a new sim card. Maybe something to look into?

I'm an idiot and forgot I work Thursday night so I can't go to the game, I'll have to listen on the radio. I sold them to a buddy at face value. As you said, I could've sold them for a heck of a lot more but he's a massive Canucks fan (CDC level without actually being on here) so it seemed like the right thing to do.

Damn. Should have sold them to me man.

Kid’s definitely been to hell and back the last few years. I don’t know if he’s ever gonna become the player people hoped, but I’m rooting for him.

Too many good prospects, some pan out, some don't.

I remember him not looking great st the WJC but most draft eligibles look that way. IIRC even drouin and mackinnon were fairly pedestrian at the WJC in their draft years. Right up until the day of the draft just about every mock had Tolvanen going top 20, some even top 15 and 10.

In my limited experience, you usually need to wait until May or sometimes even June before mountains like that lose all their snow. It might be hike-able if you're willing for more of a challenge.

Hart House is really good. The Pear Tree in Burnaby is great though, a little bit higher priced but man is it good. World class chef there too. 

Zefferelli's on Robson is pretty good if you'd like Italian, and you're right in downtown.  Not exactly fancy, but more upscale than an Anton's or such.

If you've played soccer at a somewhat high level like your friend you would appreciate how hard and how much skill it takes to make those plays, which is why they applause.

Goals sure, but scoring chances typically number in the single digits for both teams combined as far as I know. 

I'll only like soccer for free white caps tickets D: but the crowd is more entertaining than the game 

They are tinkering with his style a little bit. Trying to get him to be a little bit more aggressive. He has all the skill to be a great goalie but is too passive at times. He is not the biggest of guys so he needs to not play so deep in his net and not go down early. So far its been a bit of struggle for him this season adapting much of the newer stuff to what he already knows. On the surface people see him not getting the start in the outdoor game and think there might be something more to the story but its just a young goalie trying to learn the ropes. Correau has been respectable for them so he has given the Wings a decent alternative. The net will still be Mrazek's to lose in the long term though.

There are rumors that the Wings are trying to move but I don't think anyone should much stock in those. Imo a decent idea for a trade if they go that route would be Bennett for Mrazek.
