Why are people so afraid of the Oilers with the addition of Lucic? The Kings were a much bigger, meaner and better team than the Oilers are and they had Lucic. Nobody complained about that. But when Lucic comes to Edmonton, Oh big scary team...

As a Flyers fan I can assure you toughness is the most overrated thing in the modern NHL. The Broad Street bullies were not a great hockey team they were NHL thugs who would exploit the holes in the rules and abuse opposing teams in borderline criminal ways.
^That man is a hero and tame compared to half that roster.
After they won two Stanley Cups the rule book ether doubled or tripled in size because of what they were doing and they never won again despite trying to cling to that reputation.
Lucic good hockey player but not a game changer and if the Canucks signed him it wouldn't buy them more wins.
The Canucks are way to obsessed with getting tough years later after a side piece on an opposing team let the rest of his team carry him to a cup.
