      @BoKnows Dylan wouldn't have changed anything. We have too many forwards, and not enough emphasis on bolstering the defense.

      Figure Ol' Kimbo went to the school of Bob Seger(minus the epic, gravelly vocals..do like KM's delivery too, tho). These guys alternate fun, rockin' tunes with story songs, drippin' with sweet nostalgia.

    To MBA or to not MBA

      Might depend on what your specialty is in business. As an accountant or finance expert it might make more sense to get a CPA or CFA, but if you're more general in business, an MBA could be good to elevate you to executive management if that's what you're looking for.

       

      I'm not super keen on getting an MBA, but I might eventually get one to open the door to teaching at a university some day, which I want to do.

      Do it.  As much as you might love the company your with now, that may not be the case five, ten, fifteen years from now. An MBA opens up all kinds of doors.  Even an Executive MBA (Queen's, Western, U of T, UBC, or even a place like Royal Roads in Victoria) will serve you well.  If you can have your current employer pay for it or a part of it, even better. But do it. You might be CEO of your company one day with it.  Without it, possible, but not as likely. Good luck.

      Wow, what a run that was indeed. 

       

      How was the 2019 St. Louis roster compared to this year’s Canuck roster? Did they have a deeper roster than we do? 

       

      15-18 isn’t as bad as where the Canucks were 12 days ago, when they were what? 7 or 8 games below .500?

      If talent wise they’re better, than I can see how they went all the way with all of their runs and momentum’s and wins leading into the postseason. Can we do the same? I’m not sure. Those kinds of runs don’t happen too often do they? 

       

      If it’s the physicality, then I’m not sure about that either since I don’t think the Canucks are that physical of a team.

      I suffer from terrible migraines and I fully agree!

       

      I am getting my eyes checked and seeing if there is any Migraine proof lenses.

      I've had headaches for about a week now. I usually have almost none. I'm thinking it may be finally time to get some wisdom teeth out and hope that's the problem.

      Hmm.. 

       

      As a chronic headache suffer I have three things that have worked.. 

       

      1) Toradol medicine for serious headaches 

      2) Zomig nasal spray or pill (triptan medicine) 

      3) Head band (compression bands) tightened on the head.

       

      Ask your GP for some of these meds. 

       

      They work way better than Tylenol or Advil.

      Originally, or at least previously, the Roman calendar started in March, and at some point the Roman Senate changed it to where January was/is the first month. I believe it was changed to somehow avoid interfering with some religious ceremony or ceremonies.

      Makes sense actually that it would have originally been the 8th month. Sept wouild be 7. Nov would be 9. Dec would be 10.

       

      The intention for it to be the 8th month was definately there.

      July named for Julius Caesar; August for Augustus Caesar. Don't know what those months were called before that. Julius Caesar was born July 12, so maybe that's why.
