Juulsen made some rookie mistakes which were costly. He's a young guy with lost of potential though and it's good to see him get some minutes in the NHL. -

Also, this forum is so overly moderated that you actually deleted the initial thread(officially approved) regarding this game and started another. What a joke. -

Add the miraculous recovery of Miller and Demko and this is starting to look like the WWF. So disappointing! -

Canucks don't pull demko while maintaining posession within the last 3.5 mins and decide to play our 4th line! -
Everyone seems to forget that we also got Bauvillier and Raty in the Horvat trade. Bau is scoring at a PPG pace since joining the Canucks. Raty could become a very good NHL player. Those guys are easily worth a 2nd round pick. With this in consideration it eases the pain of how costly a young top 4 RHD is to acquire. There has been plenty of talk that you can only draft these kinds of players, yet here he is as a Vancouver Canuck! I hate loosing the picks, but they are just that. A chance to land a top end player with zero guarantees of his actual success at the NHL level.

Wow, this is a huge trade that will define the future of the Vancouver Canucks. The Canucks traded their 1st round pick(Horvat) which they acquired from NYI and our 2nd round pick in return for Filip Hronek. He is a 25 year old RHD which is something our team needed badly, but the cost was significant.

[Poll] With Horvat gone, who should be named the Canucks next captain?
koregen replied to Roberts's topic in Canucks Talk
We don't need a Captain at this time. It comes with a lot of pressure and outside of the rink responsibilities. I'd like to see an "A" given to Elias Pettersson and Quinn Hughes as additions to our current great leaders. This way all of our A's can share the responsibilities of leadership, acting as role models and as a unified team working towards our common goals of success.
