    It could just as easily be Montreal, Winnipeg and Vancouver. However watching Toronto get bounced in the first round repeatedly would be entertaining. I really do believe the level of competition would be excellent and the rivalries built/extended would become very heated.

    Two Canadian Divisions would make even more sense. I also believe this will be temporary (only last for one maybe two seasons).

    I think it will be great for hockey in general. As you mention, it would be a very competitive division which should help television ratings. Us Canadian fans would love it, for sure.

    I'd say it's pretty good. Definitely not great, certainly above average...but not great. If it had more history/culture/affordability it could be spectacular but for now it's good/pretty good.

    The price GM's pay when they choose to overspend. Dubas is my go-to example in that regard. It wouldn't hurt to enquire, which I'm certain Benning has done/is doing.

    If Benning could find a taker for Rousssel or Baertschi trading another pick to snag Tuch would be a no-brainer.

    Typical. I'm sure Vancouver was the team to land him exactly because Benning wasn't asking for additional assets.

    Geeze. This is a little bit melodramatic don't you think? Schmidt is an upgrade on Tanev. Benning is now searching for an upgrade on Stecher, either via trade or FA. Holtby is two years removed from a Stanley Cup. I like to feel a little more positive about this group going forward. There will be no regression, IMHO.
