  1. There's no player on the Canucks roster the Bruins would be willing to trade and the Canucks would be willing to offer. End of story.
  2. Of all the teams needing players on the cheap, Toronto could use a cap friendly reclamation project. The real curiosity (of course) will be how Dubas builds their blueline.
  3. I wouldn't be shocked to learn this is Benning"s plan...and would certainly be pleased if it is.
  4. If there's a way for Benning to pry Zadorov from Colorado...wow. That would be impressive.
  5. The Canucks simply need to continue playing their game. Dictate the play and they'll win. It should be that simple.
  6. You answered it yourself. Termination. The Capitals placed him on waivers and he (Leipsic) would then have to agree to terminate his contract. He (Leipsic) was also fully within his rights to grieve the termination of his contract with the Capitals but apparently decided not to. Also, the NHL itself was involved so this would bring it to a higher level.
  7. There have only been "mutual contract terminations" in the NHL. Not once has a member of the NHLPA been "fired" and it will never happen.
  8. Excellent retort. I must admit that this (obvious upcoming series) will be reduced to goaltending and the Canucks will have a decided advantage in that aspect.
  9. Yikes. One line team? You can't be serious. Much the same as the Canucks, there's a reason the Av's are in the discussion as far as Western Finals go. I know MacKinnon is a total beast on the first line but you're totally discounting the remaining three lines. Their defense matches pretty evenly with the Canucks as well. (Makar=Hughes, Cole=Tanev,)...which D is the Canucks Zadorov? I honestly do not get the Canucks advantage...although I hope you're right!
  10. You do know that the players are not paid during the play-offs, right? Contractual obligations are only during the regular season.
  11. Now that you mention it, it does look like he recently spent time tending his crop in Montana.
  12. If the bottom six can sustain or ratchet up the intensity they showed in the past two games, we have a chance. I'm looking at you, Jake.
  13. WTF? The people who are "concerned" normally want to change it. Who are they to tell me, you or anyone else what the $@#& people can do in their own home?! Give your head a shake.
  14. Who gives a $@#* what people do in the privacy of their own homes? The people who DO care are the ones society should be concerned with.
  15. So a smuggler of contraband who is not legally allowed to possess firearms (but has a "stockpile") is known to the RCMP yet the response is to ban certain firearms? Excellent plan.
  16. Holding a PAL gives the RCMP the right to check your criminal record daily. If a complaint such as domestic abuse is filed on a PAL holder, you can bet there's going to be a red flag. I certainly agree the ball was dropped here considering the history/background of abuse.
  17. You can be sure if those firearms were legally owned the RCMP would've been at his door immediately. Especially considering it was a domestic abuse complaint. This should turn into a public enquiry.
  18. This is from a while ago and appears to be Mike just "messing around". That uppercut to left hook would be a miserable experience. Tyson combination
