  1. My telus wireless internet has been going really slow for the past few weeks. What should I try? Can i adjust some router settings? It's happening on multiple computers.

      that's nuts. i did a speedtest about an hour ago (it used to be fine a few weeks ago, but right now this is what i just got). 

       

      Ping: 237ms

      Download: 0.2 mbps

      upload:0.30 mbps

       

      I tried it with the ethernet and it's still really slow. Youtube still going back to 144p.

      Oh dude I feel for ya, that is just brutal! I couldn't live like that lol. If you're not in a contract I'd definitely recommend Bell Fibe. Their internet is nuts + they have wireless cable boxes with Netflix built in.

      OK then its most likely your service and not a conflict with another device or channel. Man thats dial-up territory you're getting there. 

       

      I would also ask them to come out and upgrade the connection to your house (assuming you live in a house). I did have an issue one time where the coax connection outside an older house I was living at was corroded and simply replacing that coax connection did the trick. They can do that when you're not home. Good luck.
