Stud has potential as an energy checker that can pop in a few goals but seems to me his development still hasn't gotten anywhere with more ice time with us. I meant to say McDonough could be stealing Stud's job if he can actually make him noticeable and not just hyped up NCAA prospect like Gaud.

Yup... U just never know!! But if he's more mature than Gaud and is willing to put in extra work, he has the potential to be a very useful bottom 6 guy!! We can't rely on guys like Dries and Di Giuseppe year after year for a proper "retool". I'm just hoping we can bring home Jake Livingtone too!!

I couldn't catch much of the action last night.... but did anyone notice much of Kravtsov?? Is he gradually settling in?? All I saw was, Brisebois was so lack of confidence... and he often fails to get the puck out effectively.... Juulsen on the other hand is showing much more and he might get to stick around for next season once Myers and/or Bear are gone....!

I maybe in the minority here wanting a retool over rebuild. When you already got top guys like Petey, Hughes and Demko, you gotta build around them and push for playoffs sooner rather than later. Fans were screaming foul when we gave up that first round pick for Hronek... Ask yourself, is it that easy to use a first rounder to draft a guy of his calibre?? Ask yourself, do you think Petey wanna wait another 3-4 years before we are competitive again? Ask yourself, would you keep paying to watch a team mostly of AHLers and raw prospects?? I get most of us are upset with management over bad contracts and lack of direction... But at least our GM got green light to pull moves... Imagine if we took the Coyotes model... Year after year taking on dead contracts and numerous picks resulting in One Clayton Keller tht can really play... and signing a bunch of John Haydens in offseason!!

Ahhh very good article!! Well... Most college hotshots often feel they're NHL ready after their final year in NCAA and wanna get paid real $ a year earlier... Totally understandable! Seems to me development in NCAA still falls behind CHL and Euro leagues... For every Quinn Hughes or Kevin Hayes, there's like tons more Molinos that will never get a sniff in NHL.

I see, so if he wanna sign with us and burn one year off, he'd wanna do so by Apr. 8?

When's the latest for him to sign and get a few games in to burn his first year of ELC??

The Coyotes are such a disgrace of the league... all they care is to meet the bare minimum of the salary cap floor and keep swallowing up dead contracts just to get picks... well, I'm pretty sure most of their picks won't even turn out to be decent NHLers anyway.... sucks to be a talented guy like Clayton Keller who's stuck with a team that has zero aspiration to do well!! and sucks for Stech too just staying there to keep an NHL gig.... Can't wait to see a Canadian buyer take that crappy team out and relocate to Hamilton..... Ryan Reynolds & Seth Rogen???
