No. Contractual obligations . One way was in Tryamkins contract for a reason. BTW “the Canucks” at that time weren’t asking Tryamkin to go to Utica (eastern USA) . The Coach was demanding it as a training stint.. and used his authority to sit the player. Tryamkins stats at that time were already better than 4 roster D men. Which he and his agent pointed out to Benning. Fact. Benning and management called the meeting to get to the bottom of the situation. Management decided Tryamkin was right for not going to Utica for 3 games to “train”, as he was already training here while WD decided to sit him out. And, get this ,. It wasn’t in his contract. Ultimately, just another reason to FIRE Desjardins. Which should have occurred the year before because of his asinine deployment of lines and pp pm’s. I know you like to state / and think I come up with excuses. But what’s your excuse for NOT knowing the facts, and why do you constantly troll me this way 73? it really makes you look weak not knowing anything about a player other than reading and absorbing headlines from the media in this town. I will just block you if it continues.

Have to really appreciate what Matt Irwin has signed to be here, And realizing it’s also a 2way, that allows, or inspires him to be a positive influence to some great prospects we have coming through Abby . That deserves applause.

Didn’t see him finish the season in Abby but was getting a lot of high praise from C Faber who see most of the games. hard work gets noticed . Congrats Tristen

I’d be surprised if Silvos takes the # 1 at camp this year…. But I think he gets the spot next year regardless. Demko will bring a great return, and we have good goalies coming into the fold. The bits that I’ve seen of Sawchenko are very positive.. and Clarke will bring the best out of all of them. So nice to have the AHL club in the same province / area as all the facilities and trainers Vancouver Canucks enjoy.

I can not agree with that statement. I wonder how much you have seen him play .. not at the AHL level, but before, and then of course recently at the World Cup? where he won most valuable player of the tournament, and took his country to it first ever placing with a bronze medal.

I’d like to think Alvine and Diamond have or are having discussions. Just hope NT is up on world affairs and under stands that just an opportunity now in North America, could save him from hardship for years and after hockey . Russia and the Ruble is a mess Provost, that country will be in a decline and be treated coldly for a decade. getting paid in Rubles does not help his situation.

No way they rest Silvos as a backup to Demko.. but he will be Demkos replacement to injury . Martin will be backup to Demko and Silovs at the NHL level. Until Silovs bumps Demko out which I think could happen next season. almost certain of this progression after Silovs performance at the international level. The only thing that could change this is they want to make Silovs the #1 this season,. And get a great return and drop cap space by moving Demko. But I doubt this scenario.

Found this.. seems to be calm wick and contained in his crease. dosent really track to far out of the crease, but if he does it’s just to keep his movement/edges active. great reflexes ,. Follows the puck well. Great grab.

I think Silvos would come up for a short and long term injury situation to Demko . But if and when he shows well to carry for a stretch now.. I think there’s movement. If Silvos grabs does a hold, it will be hard to deny him of the # 1 next season. (24-25)
