Wow. 12 years with the Jets , where does time go? Has been a .8 ppg player his entire tenure, including last season. If we had room, I’d try to entice him to come here on a 1year. 2-3m. Use him sparingly, but keep him tuned for playoff contention, and action. Might possibly turn into a great C position Coach. We’d be thick and deep at the C position .

Just had a quick look at his stats / NHL Vs Junior. Roughly .4 ppg in Junior. AHL not bad either. 24 yrs old , Not being able to crack the line up in Tampa for the last 3 seasons is understandable, same with showing with Nashville for only 24 games on a new team as a late season trade. His Junior stats are fine or better for the type of player he is .. physical, fearless. Just needs the right opportunity/ coach staff. Here answering to B Dillon . Definitely knows when to answer for the team.

It’s been so very quiet about possible acquisitions the Canucks might make, Soucy is one rumour, Mayfield a possible other.. but you’d think we would hear more about ANY Dman interests the Canucks might have from within the NHL . Perhaps it’s been quiet for this long because we’ve gone “off the board” to acquire NT .. the other tell tale is usually his agent likes to hype his player publicly.. and we’ve heard nothing from him regarding any team .

He plays both.. his pk prowess has been really good the past 2 seasons. something we could also benefit from.
