[Rumor] Boeser Camp Eyeing 4 Year Deal Worth $28M
lethal_spaghetti replied to buddyguy's topic in Trades, Rumours, Signings
These athletes have to do whats best for them and if they think they aren't being valued by the team at fair value why sign with them? As we are learning more and more in pro sports its all a business teams are showing less and less loyalty to players so when a player tries to do whats best for them we should support them no? It's tough for both sides but everyone is just trying to do whats best and I'm sure in BB case this will be resolved there doesn't seem to be as much hostility as other situations. -
Also the part where being a well-known student athlete doesn't hurt around campus if you all know what i mean.

Could call up Peter Chiarelli and ask him?
-
Wasn't Stark making something for thor? From the spiderman homecoming end credits i think?
-
palmu=gallagher gaudette=kesler am i doing it right?

Why do you guys argue? You guys are both correct in this sense. Tryamkin had pretty small sample size in the NHL but he proved he can play in the league. As for his ceiling that remains to be seen but guy has loads of potential so long as he wants to reach that potential in Vancouver also remains to be seen.

HAHAHHAAHAHA makes you wonder, eh

We lost what 400+ man games last year to injury? Let them start in Utica if they dont start in the NHL right away and come up when we will inevitably have an injury. Stecher started the year in Utica last year as well. Im just glad we will have quality players to call up. Not rushing the kids is going to prove optimal in the future.

ala Vlasic?
-
If we do sign him he would definitely get the KHL clause in his contract.

It is quite sad out here hahaha.

Just let him marinate in the ahl for a few years build that muscle and go from there?

2017 NHL Draft - Chicago, Illinois June 23-24 2017
lethal_spaghetti replied to hyper00's topic in Prospects / Farm Team
But then you risk the problem of getting it ripped out. -
sadly a lot of us lack that trait, me included at times haha. However knowing that its going to take a few years nothing left to do but be patient haha. (with all of our prospects).
-
Maybe we could look at the way they have handed anthony mantha and use that as a comparison here? I know Jake was a top ten pick but i still feel we should have him on the same sort of trajectory as mantha.

I think a realistic goal for brock would be 20-25 goals. A lot of it is going to depend on his deployment as well, as i don't see him on the first pp next year to start and maybe not even on the second line. I just feel management forced him into a bigger role at the end of this year as to give the fans something to look forward to but as soon as next year starts they may "protect" him in the way we have seen horvat be "protected" in his first few years. I for one see him moving up to the second line prety quick and hopefully replaces sutter on the first pp unit with loui being the other forward with the sedins.

agreed, i open up these threads to see how our prospects are doing and a lot of the time i have to sort through so much useless info just to get what im looking for. Bottom line is our prospects are ours and we can't really worry about other teams players. I can somewhat understand other players coming up in these threads for comparisons sake but most of what i see is garbage.

sbisa to las vegas and tanev or hutton to colorado? i can wish right haha.
-
Ive seen a few posters compare Juolevi to vlasic who again in his own right is a pretty damn good defencemen but again i wouldn't consider vlasic a true number 1. That being said if he does turn into a vlasic type/level player then I for one will be glad anything past that is just gravy imo.
-
don't worry we can manage the team together we can create a good balance hahah
-
next year hopefully I don't see the need to rush him let him get healthy (speculative injury to wrist could still be bothering him)
-
naw ima steal his
-
I agreee 100% he is so calm on the ice with or without the puck. His first pass or ability to escape the forecheck are huge parts of his game that maybe overlooked by some who only look at the stat sheet at the end of the game. Once he brings this ability to players of NHL calibre skill perhaps he starts to put up points (since that is important to some). I for one am not disappointed with this pick.

Hey Seeds welcome to the board. few things i would like to add: 1. No team will ever intentionally tank but I agree that if we are in a position to draft Hischier we should not hesitate. 2. Yes we have a lot of depth at D currently but we may lose Sbisa in the expansion draft and we won't know until next year if Juolevi will be ready for the show right away (no need to rush him anyway). Also year after year our D is banged up and having depth helps ease the pain of injuries. 3. Yes the teams future does look bright and hopefully in 3 years time we start cintending for the cup season after season until Bo lifts it over his head (hopefully please god please haha).

They have a lot of help coming their way in the next few years
