  1. Get my travel story today trying to get back to Vancouver

Left Pullman, WA by bus to go to Spokane Airport at 4pm

Got to Spokane Airport at 6

Got through security and to my gate at 630 (Flight at 845 to Seattle, Connecting Flight 1115 to Vancouver)

    Flight delayed a half hour

    Flight delayed another half hour

Get on plane, mechanical failure another 45 min delay

Get into Seattle at 12 AM, I am on the tarmac as my plane leaves while I am waiting for my bag, which I didn't want to check in and was forced too.

Its ok because there is a flight to Bellingham which fits my schedule. They had space and didn't let me on, made me go to customer service where there was 70 people in front of me.

Waited in that line for and hour and a half

Got a flight to bellingham for 9am tomorrow and a free night at the red lion.

Waited a half hour for a shuttle to the hotel.

I just got into my room now, 11 hours since my departure.

Did I mention, I have a wedding that starts tomorrow at 11 (at UBC)?

You must be flying Alaska!  I have all sorts of stories to tell about them!

My favorites were when they didn't know were my 10 year old niece was after her flight landed after 30 mins when they were supposed to be accompling her. Another time was we we less than 5 mins to take off, and had to de board after they made their annoncement.  One of the  brakes were worn down.  Another time we were missing a First Commander.  Another time, mechanical failure.  Another time, the crew was on another flight waiting to land.  But when I flew up to Alaska and back, they were a delight and took off on time to and from. And I told everyone to give them a second chance.  Then I flew with them again, and we were back to square one.  I get so pissed off at them, then a few months later, I fly with them again because they are cheap and have more flights, then I remember why I was not going to fly with them.  It's a cycle.
