If Jake was 25/26 yrs old i would agree with MAYBE moving him for something... but he is not... what he is... is a young player capable of a 20+ goal season... a big body and durable I could imagine playing with EP/BB/BH should inspire a desire for more production... ALSO, I would have more of an appetite to keep the likes of an underachieving 23yr old Virtanen to "sober up" and soak up a PWR FWD "clinic" this season, put on by a healthy Ferland (i hope) hopefully come playoff time we have two "Ferlands" and a side of Roussel

Nikita Tryamkin not even close easily top 2/3 when here last... deserved Waaay more ice time ("cracked out" Willie D was so terrible) and i don't see Edler keeping pace with last season, into the season in question. Big / Fast / insane reach ("think Willie Mitchell") and "should" be better after a few more in the KHL. He's the Russian Monster SIGN HIM TO FIVE PLEASE

This is really the icing we need on our current lineup for the regular season.... I watched the Sedins get worn down physically over their entire careers ...too many liberties on our most important players year after year. Virtanen and Ferland are great... don't get me wrong.... but we need a guy who lives this role... and happens to be a pretty tough s.o.b i'd rather lose Reaves to a fighting injury... than either of Virtanen/Ferland/Tryamkin/Podkolzin/ Myres...ect great guys for making us harder to play against.... push back is great... ...but shouldnt have to be the first to answer the "bell" against a heavy
