Don’t comment on here often but have been reading these forums for 10+ years daily. I met Brock and his dad in Tampa during the all star week. Could not say enough good thing about the guy. I think everyone knows his past and what he is currently going through. He oozes character and could he a leader on this team. I predict 60+ points and over 30 goals this season. Is it safe to say that if the Canucks miss the playoffs this year there is a management change? If both OEL and Garland don’t have good years, and we could have kept the 9th + been done with all three of those contacts, would be hard to justify the move. That being said I am a fan of this Trade could be a huge W for the Nucks. Definitely a big shake up. Never hurts to bring in a ex caption to the locker room and can be the mentor for the younger dman on the roster

IMHO if I was Marner I would be asking for Mathews money no question. Leading in points. Was their best player the last playoffs.. just because he’s a winger doesn’t mean he has less of an impact on the game. Just because you can win a face off doesn’t mean your more valuable then the better player beside you.. am I right or am I right?
