      Let's be real, he's probably as "week to week" as Hughes was "day to day" last season. Teams lie and always gamble the health of their players to make revenue. Wouldn't be surprised if he came back early, not 100%.

    Sometimes I wonder, is Bedard the next Crosby / MacKinnon / Stamkos, or is he the next Yakupov / Stefan / Daigle?  Or somewhere in between?

      @goalie13i completely agree with you that world juniors doesn't guarantee translation to the pro level (Schroeder comes to mind). Putting up Canada's greatest numbers ever (and there have been quite the spectacular players at that tournament for team Canada), as a 17 year old, putting up the greatest world junior performance in history... yeah, I'd say the odds of him busting are the lowest for a number 1 overall since Crosby.

      They benched my star fantasy dman Durzi because he caused one goal and lost by 3 to an AHL team. Serves them right haha
