In Hughes we trust!

To Seattle - Tanner Pearson, 2024 5th
To Vancouver - Kole Lind
Seattle gets a depth left winger with experience who can provide their coach with options in case Tolvanen or Tanev get injured. A pick is added to sweeten the deal similar to the trade with Chicago
Canucks shed some salary cap and get our boy back

If we have info to pass on do it on Legos you tube comments until we get a new forum
-
Someone should create a forum on a new platform called (Canucks New Message Boards) in case this all gets shut down. It would be nice to be able to stay connected to other hockey fans.

To trade for Pettersson I have to look at the Jack Eichel trade to Vegas,
Buffalo got Alex Tuch, Payton Krebs, 1st and a 2nd
Proven winger Tuch is on the top line wing for Buffalo, Top prospect Krebs is now a productive third line C
Trade for Pettersson would have to be
Proven winger Kuzmenko, top prospect Tom Willander, 1st and 2nd.
Eichel had neck surgery health issues which made the trade more risky for Vegas so I think Petterson should get a bit more.
I would add one more top prospect to get it done, Aatu Raty
To ? - Kuzmenko, Willander, Raty, 1st, 2nd
To Vancouver - Elias Pettersson
-
To Boston - JT Miller, Jack Rathbone
To Van - Pavel Zacha, 2024 1st protected,
To Nashville - Myers, 2024 1st (Bos)
To Van - Dante Fabbro
Hoglander Pettersson Kuzmenko
Bouviller Zacha Boeser
Mikheyev Suter GarlandJoshua Blueger Podkolzin
Aman
Hughes Fabbro
Soucy Hronek
Wolanen Cole
Irwin Bear
Demko
Canucks move salary and get younger while filling a needed roster spot

If Wolanen is playing for the Canucks this season then Jack should get to be a leader in Abbotsford. But with Hirose and Brisebois Im not sure where he will slot in
-
Elias Pettersson captainship will be part of his contract negotiations
-
This is the guy who hit Mikheyev and messed up his knee. He has girt and put up ok numbers last season. With the loss of Boroughs we could use a guy like him for Canucks depth and Abbotsford toughness. Calgary is starting a rebuild and wants picks. To Vancouver - Nick DesimoneTo Calgary - Christian Wolanen, 2024 5th

If Woo has a beast of an off season and shows up in camp faster than ever, he might be given a chance in training camp to play with Hughes

Id like to see a D pairing in Abbotsford at some point of Hunter Brzustewicz and Jacob Truscott

8 X 8 is fair for a guy that doesn't fight

Its nice the see the Abbotsford thread start new at the beginning of each season because the team changes so much. This lets us have a better idea of the line ups going on in Abbotsford.

Willander is sure showing his commitment to playing in the NHL, by taking the NCAA route. He's getting the best of both worlds. Good foundations in Sweden, and learning the North American game in Boston. I hope Willander and Celebrini learn to be rock solid defenders.
I'm still not sold on Lekkerimaki, you can see his skill set why he was chosen. I just think Ohgren, Pickering, or Gaucher would have been better choices.
But hey, I'm the guy that got stoked about Kole Lind in the 2nd round. Lol.
I agree about Lekkerimaki, I was really high on Ohgren during that draft. With the Kole Lind draft I was really high on Nikolas Hague who would have been a way better pick, and during Virtanens draft I was going for Nick Ritchie. For Juolevis draft I was ok with either Juolevi or Sergachev. But I might have taken Tkachuk after seeing him drop then with Petterssons draft I wanted Vilardi. This draft I would have taken Willander at their spot over Benson.
Im clearly not right on all of them but time will tell.

I like Duhaime, We could use a guy like him on our bottom line for toughness and his age works with the team. Would be nice to trade Boeser for him and clear up some more cap space..

Keep our wingers and trade Myers after his bonus has been paid and sign Foote.

Lol that's a hell of a tall order for a 4th round pick.
I think he has the potential to raise his ceiling to new heights, If he does this he is sure to get a raise

Soucy lays big hits but he looses a lot of fights.
