2022-23 Abbotsford Canucks Thread

Hogs is so hot right now... Hogs -
To Vegas - LD - Jack Rathbone To Van - RD - Kaedan Korczak Jack has shown a lot more offensive upside and that he is more NHL ready. Kaeden is more of a project but has size and grit which we need in this position

I would like Rienbacher, Leonard, or Sandin Pellikka
-
Im so excited we are going to get a good first round pick prospect this year. This player will probably be our new best prospect

We can still draft a good player at our spot. At least were not Calgary -
Ryan Leonard would really fit in well as a prospect for our team. Center/ Right Wing - shoots right 5'11 190lbs Dobber - Hardworking, two-way forward with a heavy shot and good instincts around the net. Plays with physicality and energy, projecting as an impactful top-six NHLer.

Good work getting this guy. Hope he gets motivated to have a big off season in training and comes to camp bigger, stronger, and faster. -

The National Hockey League is promoting its woke ideology agenda. Its political and it ruins the game we all love. That said I like rainbows -

Canucks just did something unusual, they won a game against a good team, then played a bad team the next day and won that game too. Is it 2008 again? -

Great signing, Another free prospect. These signings make up for squandered draft picks in the past. His numbers appear close to Aiden Mcdonnough's and Abbostford will be a great spot for him to prepare his game for pro hockey. -

I like seeing the team win as underdogs. Next year will be a better year for us to make the playoffs and have a good chance at competing for the cup. Canucks are now playing like a winning team but there is still work to do before we are a cup contender. Next year guys like Pettersson, Hughes, Boeser, Podkolzin, Kratszof, Rathbone, and a bunch of the other young guys will all be a year older, more experienced, and stronger. To me Boeser already looks lighter on his feet. I think Tocchet will push the guys to be stronger, better versions of themselves. Management might make a couple changes to the roster and I expect a highly competitive training camp for those NHL spots. Things are looking good for Vancouver and this summer will be one of hope and optimism. -
This would be my off season moves I would like to give OEL another year and see how he does with Hronek. Myers should be bought out first. Package Boeser with our 2023 1st to Minnesota for Ryan Hartman and their 2023 1st. Sign 3rd line C Ivan Barbashev. Sign Jake Livingston - give him a chance at being a star playing with Quinn Hughes Kuzmenko Pettersson Micheyev Beauvillier Miller Hartman Pearson Barbashev Garland Joshua Aman Podkolzin Studnika OEL Hronek Hughes Livingston Wolanen Bear Brisebois Julson
-
How can we terminate his contract
-
Hes shown well playing in Vancouver
-
If we can sign Livingston and he becomes a top 4 stud NHL D man, that will make up for a missed first round pick
