Originally drafted by Columbus in the 5th round of the 2021 draft, James has been working hard this off season in preparation for a big year on our AHL roster.

Bura is reportedly on track to be 100% in time for training camp, so yes expect him back on their roster. But he's listed as on IR, not LTIR, so his cap hit is already counted and SEA still have $943k of cap space. However, as you say, not enough space to add Pearson at $3.25m.
Lind has really turned a corner in his development (31 pts in 26 gp in the AHL playoffs last season) and is no longer waiver exempt, so I expect he gets a shot on their NHL roster in 2023-24. Don't think SEA will be interested in trading him for Pearson, especially with TP's return from serious hand injury in the mix.

Good proposal. I think the value is fair and I like it from VAN perspective. Hard to get a handle on exactly what NSH are looking for, seem to be doing a mini rebuild, but I think adding some futures helps them go ahead with this deal. Trenin might be off their roster by next season anyway.

I can’t see OTT trading Pinto. He has a bright future. Seems more likely they will move Kubalik or Joseph (probably Kubalik as he has positive value and Joseph would cost a bit to move) and theyresign Pinto to ~$1.8m.
