  1. Granlund is probably my favorite player on the team right now. The guy is humble and seems to be a great person. He seems like he would be somebody who people will respect in the locker room and be one of the guys the rookies look up to. I still see him as a good first liner great second liner. He has been on an uptrend over the past few years and I see that continuing to about 18-25 goals 30 assists playing up and down the lineup this year. He has a deadly shot and is one of the smartest players on the team. He reminds me a bit of burrows with his forechecking and penalty killing as well as reading plays and being positionally sound. Just a bit slower but a higher offensive ceiling.
  2. Skill wise I agree with you for sure. I don't know if Juolevi would be able to handle the physicality in the NHL as good as Sergachev could at this point though. I don't know if it's just me, but he seemed to have some dominant shifts and others where he seemed kind of like he was bored out there. I don't know if he doesn't have a high intensity level or what. I don't want to be too harsh on that since I've only watched him twice. Lol yeah he definitely is a faster thinker then Edler. Edler waits 15 minutes for every hairy leg to get in the way to block a shot, then boom takes it anyways... blocked and breakaway, especially on the power play.
  3. Thanks for the heads up! Totally forgot the game was on today.
  4. Those were pretty interesting stats. I like the way Gaunce plays, but was starting to lose hope as his production was quite low. I now have a rejuvenated hope that he can improve in year 2. I like how he plays down low and his size helps in battles along the boards in puck battles and his skill seems to be improving in the circle as well. What kind of player do you guys see him turning into? Any comparable guys?
  5. The Canucks seem to be a better team with Biega in the lineup. He just makes the players around him more aggressive. He single handedly adds grit to a game. He's one of the shorter guys on the team yet hits harder then anyone on the team consistantly. I'd prefer Biega over Labate on the 4th line as well, at least for a while yet to see if he can keep it up. I think he should be auditioning as a 4th line grinder for next season, whether here or somewhere else. If he was in the game this morning vs Minnesota I know he would have exacted revenge on Coyle for that hit on Skille.
  6. Has Juolevi been on for every goal against?
