  1. feel bad for the kid. Definitely deserves to play. Give him an actual opportunity with the big club. He was a SHL MVP. CALL UP RODIN
  2. could definitely see these lines working Virtanen (LW) - Pattersson - Dahlen (RW) Gadjovick(LW) - Gaudette - Kole Lind (RW) Sven B (LW) - Horvat - Rodin (RW) Boeser - Gaunce - Goldobin (RW) Gaunce is most effective at center. His style reminds me of Drasital. Needs to emulate him
  3. same observation. Virtanen is most effective on left wing. His one timers 5 on 5 from that wing are lethal and he tends to drive the net as well. On right wing he tends to shoot less. simply carries the poke around the net and out with no purpose. Dahlen is most effective on right wing . On the powerplay Boeser is most effective from the LW as well.
  4. more like: Tanev gets you a 1st & top prospect (3rd pick & Honka) Nichuskins rights as incentive for taking on 2 goalie cap dump and Vancouver gives up a 2nd in a later draft
  5. Easy fix. draft all of them. With high demand for quality top D, Tanev is our key to a solid rebuild. Dallas window to win is now and Tanev goes a long way to helping them. Signed to a reasonable contract for next few years. Vegas needs a young Dman for the future. Benning get this done: First Trade: Tanev to Dallas for 2017 3rd overall pick & Honka. Vancouver also gives up a 2nd round pick in 2019 for rights to Nishuskin and taking on 2 of Dallas Goaltenders Logic: Dallas is loaded up front with offense but can't seem to keep the poke out of their net. Tanev is a proven top 4 D that instantly helps them with that plus push the play. Furthermore Dallas clears cap space to go after a free agent to help them now. Second Trade: Vancouver flips the 3rd overall pick with Vegas for the 6th & 15th picks in 2017 Logic: Vegas drafts a Dman for the future in Makar or Miro Heiskanen Third Trade: Vancouver trades B Sutter & J Subban to Toronto for 17th overall pick Fourth Trade: Vancouver moves both 2nd round picks to move up to the later first round 1st round Draft Day: With the 5th, 6th, 15th & 16th & later first round picks, Vancouver drafts Cody Glass, Vilardi, Pattersson, Liljegren, Klim Kostin Vancouver off season additions : Julius Honka Valeri Nishuskin Vancouvers Depth Chart: DEFENSE DEPTH (Mix of size, skill & Mobility) A Edler(LHD) - J Honka (RHD) B Hutton (LHD) - E Gudbranson (RHD) O Juolevi (LHD) - Liljegren (RHD) N Tryamkin (LHD) - T Stecher (RHD) A Pedan A Cederholm G Brisebois J Chatfield P Holm FORWARD DEPTH D Sedin - H Sedin - L Eriksson (Swede line 1) J Dahlen - Pattersson - A Rodin (Swede line 2) Nishuskin - D Zhukenov - K Kostin (Russian line) Vilardi - - B Hovart - J Virtanen (Canadian line) W Lockwood - A Guddette (sp) - B. Boeser (American line) S. Baertshi - M Granlund - N Goldobin (All world line 1) R. Boucher - C Glass - B Gaunce (Canadian line 2) J Labate D Dorsett M Chaput J Cramarossa Rebuild almost complete. Get lucky next draft and draft Dhalin. CDC happy.
