  1. I wonder why you can say he can't play down the line-up. He's never really been given a fair shot there, with any longevity nor linemates. I don't know if you guys remember but the Flames originally drafted him as a 40-40 Iggy type player.
  2. I have to agree they are totally not redundant. There is no guarantee that any prospects will make the team. Both of these guys could also be traded at the start of next year without any problem whatsoever. It's a great position to be in. Either we get something for them or we have younger, higher upside players, making an impact. However, being expansion fodder doesn't mean much, we can always hang someone to dangle if we don't have enough non-elc players.
  3. So I guess he should have said we're giving him an 8 year contract for $80 and then traded him for Laine? People can't obviously be this brain dead. Only Benning haters could conjure up this drivel.
  4. I don't really buy this lowering trade value babble. They are what they're worth, not a media quote.
  5. Draft Lottery

I can't for the life of me figure out why people go out of their way to be haters on a hockey fourm. It's bizarre.
  6. Lol, yeah but ... but ... bbbb .... I got nothing
  7. That's a horrible deal for Ottawa. Totally lateral unless you think getting Baertsci at a slight discount is worth trading Karlson.
  8. Draft Lottery

Wow, you're usually way outside the box but I think you have something here.
  9. I like, always have liked, Emelin. That and getting a first for Tanev would be excellent.
  10. Elias Pettersson | C/RW

I agree with your sentiment but the flip side of that is you will get some teams that honestly just plain suck and get buried forever due to bad draft luck. Imagine a horrible team (us lol) drafting 12, 23,10, and 15, the last four years.
  11. Elias Pettersson | C/RW

I think a better way would be to have the last 6 teams randomly selected for spots 1-6, the next 5 for spots 7-11, and the other 4 for spots 12-15.
  12. Jonathan Dahlén | C/LW

8 hours and 11 minutes flight from Stockholm to Utica.
  13. Jonathan Dahlén | C/LW

Sorry, I didn't really mean pure foot speed. I meant the speed at which he makes plays. I would be happy to be wrong though.
  14. Jonathan Dahlén | C/LW

That's true but it definitely helps if they are also good at hockey. Gaunce knows the game but he's a major pedestrian out there that contributes nothing other than keeping the other team off the score-sheet. A good trait no doubt but not good enough with nothing else to offer.
  15. 2018 NHL Entry Draft

I think I was being a dick because people were super mad that I suggested we could in all likelihood move down the draft ladder. I was assured by many smart folks that we wouldn't win another game this year. lol Dahlin Svechnikov Zadina Tkachuk Boqvist Wahlstrom Bouchard Dobson Hughes Farabee I think Dobson and Farabee could be the steals this draft.
