Let's say we suck the rest of way & get another top 5 pic , or even the #1 pic . Then this has to be it for loosing, time to compete, because if this team has a long commitment to loosing guys like Boeser are going to take there talents else where , also take in the fact this city is super expensive to live in even if your making 6-7 mil , that would hardly buy you a crapy house , & rent here is like a mortgage to any mansion in the states & guys want to drive to games & not take there 10speeds, Tryamkin left cause he didn't like it here nothing to do with ice time, something about this city people either love it or they really really hate it there's no in between , I love it as long as I can afford it but some guys don't , so long story short a winning team is going to play a huge factor in keeping good talent here .

Ya well the last time this team made playoffs they got 23rd pic & took Boeser, pretty sure he's more skilled than any top 5 pic this franchise has ever drafted, some of the best players are late pics . Tankings a gamble & it's stupid.

The whole topic of tanking is dumb! Oh ya let's crap the bed for maybe a top 5 pic that may or may not work out, unless there's a McDavid type player in the mix & even then you might not get what's the point, also the cap doesn't let you stock pile talent , you get to have 2 super stars that get the lions share of the cap & then some complimentary players behind them & that's when some good GM'n needs to come in. We got Boeser, horvat plus this Pettersan guy who's looking more & more like the real deal , so we got Bo signed probably going to cost an arm & a leg to sign Boeser & who knows what will come of this Pettersan guy , but if it's what the scouts are say'n then that's a big buck contract in next 3 years so time to compete & draft smart ,trade smart & sign smart.
