    Tyler Madden | C

Tyler Maddens works hard for his first of the game! Tyler Maddens 2nd of the game! Gets named player of the game as well! Great game by Madden. Great defensive and offensive ability, and his skating and stick handling is just as good. He is definitely looking like the real deal.

    Quinn Hughes | D

Quinn's stick handling and skating ability is going to look incredible along side Pettersson and Boeser. We will be a force to be reckoned with.
  3. Treenanay

    Michael DiPietro | G

A few of the 23 saves he made last night.
  4. Treenanay

    Tyler Madden | C

Unfortunately US did not win the game, but great defensive play by Madden
  5. Treenanay

New Jersey scores 3 own goals.

Exactly, Schneider did incredible the first 3 years he played for New Jersey. Unfortunately his luck turned. Kinkaid has taken the starting position, I only wish the best for Schneider and hopefully he can come back into his own
  6. Treenanay

New Jersey scores 3 own goals.

He is currently 0-17-3. He hasn't won a game since December 17th 2017. Bo has 28 points in 32 games as a 23 year old, and is currently in the position to become the next captain. This isnt even describing his great defensive play, and leading the league in faceoffs won. This trade only continues to get better

    Shot blocking should be banned

The one thing about the internet is that sarcasm is a lot harder to detect.

I believe Couture deserves a gold medal for that dive. Also was Vlasic pulling on Roussels hair at the end?

    Brock Boeser | #6 | RW

The problem with Boeser right now is that he is shying away from things he did so easily last season. Confidence could very well be the case. If he added more weight he shouldn't be scared to get into puck battles. He has been making some horrible passes due to what I believe is the fact that he doesn't want to be involved in any physical play.

    Brock Boeser | #6 | RW

Brock Boeser is a guy who immediately believed his career was about to come to an end after the collision. We should all be supporting Boeser as this is not easy for him either. He clearly is not 100% yet and we will all know when he is. We should all be glad that he is skating and playing hockey, the goals will come with time.

    William Lockwood | RW

He definitely has more tools in his toolset. Hopefully this year he can remain healthy and help Hughes with possibly winning a championship. If both of them sign in the off season after winning a championship that would be huge for the Canucks

    William Lockwood | RW

I think that's a really good comparison. I see a lot of Jannik Hansen in his game. Maybe the offense ability of Mason Raymond, and the type of in your face hockey like Burrows

[PGT] Vancouver Canucks at Carolina Hurricanes | Oct. 09, 2018

Another disappointing loss. Markstrom either lets the first shot in or plays lights out, but letting the first shot in 2 games out of the 3 he has played is a real momentum killer. The team responded very well with what was given to them in net. We need to improve 5-on-5. This is a real make it or break it season for Markstrom IMO.
