I think Boeser should be traded. He’s just not fast enough to be an elite scorer like in his rookie season. Won’t ever get that kind of time and space again. His shot is also nowhere near what it was in his rookie season. Obv from all the wrist injuries/surgeries. We need more speed. Look at how effective Garland is compared to Boeser. Yet somehow Boeser is going to be paid way more than him.

Finally a game I could actually enjoy watching. Podz is going to be so good, he should be a mainstay on the pp and top 6 minutes. Pettersson finally looked like an NHL’er. Pearson looked a lot faster tonight to me than usual. Maybe since he was called out on being slow Boeser needs to compete a lot more and same with Horvat imo. Demko is beast. Oh and Burroughs is a gem. I wouldn’t mind seeing him and Hughes together more. He’s a smart player and mobile.

Not sure why they’re keeping him on the first unit. Put him on the 2nd to take some pressure off him and so we can actually get our first unit going with someone who will actually shoot.

Seriously? He’s one of the weakest skaters in the NHL. Wow he can do a quick lap around the rink? So can a lot of people who know how to skate… His balance, edge work, pivoting, backwards skating is terrible. Saying his skating isn’t a weakness because he can do a quick lap is one of the worst takes I’ve seen in a while, he’s literally Bambi out there.

Doesn’t matter, the team ain’t this bad. Look at the system. Watch how easily teams walk into our zone. Our players give them tons of space. Then they collapse in their zone while the AV’s skate circles around them. That’s by design. Same with the penalty kill. Watch how hard it is for the Canucks to enter the opponents zone.

Bo is the softest captain in the league. Prove me wrong. He should have been an assistant, not a captain. Especially after Hank. We need someone with grit.
