  1. The Pittsburgh Penguins are disappointed to lose someone that we recently acquired and were looking forward to seeing what he could do in the near future. With that being said we are excited to bring on board a top 6 forward who is a former first round pick and plays the game the right way. This deal was made to help us now and in the future as we continue to rebuild. Thanks to @inane for the negotiations that finally ended in a deal being finalized. He’s got a good team that keeps getting better and better and we wish Florida the best in their quest for a playoff spot and push for the Stanley cup. This deal was a no brainer for us. We want to thank Colorado @Big-Country for the quick negotiations and I think we are both happy that we were able to get the players we each coveted in this deal. We wish to extend our greatest thanks to Laurent Brossoit for his time here and we wish him the best in Colorado. With Jordan Kyrou on board we feel our forward pool is growing and getting better week by week. We look forward to seeing him in the NHL for the Penguins soon.
  2. The Pittsburgh Penguins are also looking to utilize their cap space to acquire some prospects as we look to build on our young developing players in Brannstrom, Bean, Beaudin, Bemmstrom, Kurashev, Vesalainen, Gurianov, Barre-Boulet. Honestly hate draft picks picks so much prefer a prospect over a draft pick.
  3. I wasn’t aware that he belonged to me...fantrax doesn’t show this at all.
  4. And Pastrnak one of the top players in the league, Shea Theodore, Brady skjei, Brock boeser, Travis konecny, Sebastian aho. My point is 3 first rounders for one high end player is if anything fair value especially in this leagues scoring format.
  5. I’d disagree with your statement here since first round picks pan out to be NHL players 80% of the time... and look at all the former late first round picks in the NHL in Filip Forsberg, Tomas Hertl, Andrei vasilevskiy, Erik karlsson, tarasenko all of the were either mid first or late first round picks. Dahlin will be the number one defensemen in the league in minimum two years.
  6. Thank to the commish team for getting this deal announced so quickly with it being such a busy summer for them already! cheers to @apollo as I think this deal works well for both him and I and it netted him a future first rounder in 2021 which he will use wisely! As for william karlsson we are so f&@$!?g happy to have him join our team! He’s going to be a big part of this team this season and many seasons down the road! He is joining Anders Lee and Max Pacioretty as our newcomers this week and the Pittsburgh couldn’t be any more excited for this season to get underway and hopefully make a long push for the Stanley cup!
  7. Thanks to the commissioners for getting this settled quickly! @apollo pleasure doing business with you and hope that we can continue to make trades In the future. if anyone has a goaltending prospect that they would consider moving for someone on my roster please send me a message as Pittsburgh is looking to acquire a goaltender that we can watch develop into a future starter.
  8. The Pittsburgh Penguins are looking at getting younger at the center position if anyone is interested in any of turris backlund cizikas or Bergeron please send me a message and we can talk trade.
  9. Pittsburgh Penguins offseason recap: the penguins in’s are happy with the progress that has been made in our efforts to increase the versatility and potential on our NHL roster while infusing some young talent into the lineup for next year. We feel as though Max Domi, Danton Heinen, Elias Lindholm, and Clayton Keller have been high profile pick ups for the forward group while we also added the likes of Kurtis Gabriel, Carl Grundstrom, Alex Barre-Boulet, Denis Gurianov, Kristian Vesalainen, Connor McMichael, Alex Beaucage and Mason Marchment to our prospects. On defence there hasn’t been to much movement on this front other than resigning’s with McDonagh, Myers, and Gardiner all agreeing to come back to Pittsburgh while we added the likes of Jake Bean, Alex Vlasic, Logan Stanley, Vili Saarijarvi, Brett Pesce and our favourite of all Erik Brannstrom. Goaltending is a position where we are still looking to acquire a prospect or two but we are happy to have Korpisalo as our goalie of the present and future. He is a young talented netminder who will lead us on a playoff run in what we hope is the near term future. While we are happy with our additions and upgrades Pittsburgh is still very much looking to continue to improve through trades and free agency. If anyone is looking to move out a little bit of cap we are more than happy to accommodate as best we can.
  10. I want to thank the new GM of the Capitals @Peaches for the negotiations as I think both teams were able to get what they wanted in this deal. I also want to thank the commissioners for making the changes to the rosters in a very timely fashion. @Salter @thejazz97 @Master Mind @Jaku
  11. Play him on the 2nd or third pairing with a good steady defensemen and he’ll be good. Plus it’s more so about shedding some salary to keep laine and try to resign the other players and maybe get a 2nd line Centre
  12. I wonder if they will start to clear out cap space and trade away some vets like Perrault kulikov etc
  13. Huge trade between Winnipeg and New York Rangers! Trouba will look good in a different shade of blue.
  14. With the 49th pick the Pittsburgh Penguins are pleased to select from Rouyn Noranda Alex beaucage @Watermelons your up with the next pick.
  15. Pittsburgh Penguins select Alex Vlasic @Alain Vigneault your next!
