I am not for nor against. However In most real world situations a player would be under contract ..under this contract he must do what his gm says within his contract.. if hes waived or signed then traded or sent to minors repeatedly this has nor bearing on what people think of the gm. It's just part of the cutthroat nhl management we see. I did talk about star power before.... I think to keep a gm accountable to his fans like a real world situation would be more important.... I do have something drawn up. But just like the nhl.... you cant field a ahl team full of bad contracts.... unless your the Oilers hahahaha.... you need a minimum number of stars to keep buts in the seats.

Dunno about that... I love stecher as a canuck fan... and as a hockey player i love he made the show successfully after not being drafted. However Benn does alot of things well too.... I think moving into the playoffs I'd rather have benn Not that stecher is bad... hes a good defenceman.... but for playoffs I'd take benn 8/10 times

Hey I agree... except lets not rush it anymore... we have those skilled wingers and defense in the system... just need to wait a year or 2... also at that time our starts will begin thier peak time... this lasts about 5 -7years. . No need to give up key resources. Pod hog lind rather madden joulevi woo 2 can can fill those holes. And we can really use those elc instead of more big heavy contacts Cheers

I just wanted to create this thread.... to share my joy of having quinn as a canuck... at 20... hes already the best defenseman I have ever seen in a canucks uniform. We have had some good ones.... but hes another level. I mean seriously.... to think to push your teamate to catch a breakaway ... like a dman warp drive is so creative and its fast thinking....hes never beat... in that situation he diddnt give up skating.... he was able to make the diffrence 2 men back. He has some opportunities to grow But I dman ( lol) impressed.

And ask yourself what a 19 year old hoglander would look like in the chl... after dominating super elite at 17

With due respect ... I dont believe you get to a professional level of hockey before age 20 with a lack of focus. His boredom is caused by a lack of challange.... that is why in my opinion hes getting cute in his plays....like the lacrosse goal. Hes taking his creativity to extreames to challange himself and make it fun. The kids u20 stats are close to petterssons....I'm not saying hes as good as petty .... just saying its alot of elite skill. So no boredom is not a positive.... but the underlying cause is. Just my opinion

Um no. I agree guys a brick $%^& house.... but hes a 19yr old. In another 3 or 4 years his body will mature. Yes he will get heavier....yes he will get stronger. 19 is 19 no matter how you slice it.. His hockey IQ is already high... It's how he plays shl productively at 19.
