  1. Not saying we are going to make a deal. But if it was us, it's going to cost.. Juolevi, Lind, Baertschi, 2018 1st, 2019 2nd For OEL
  2. [Proposal] Vanek to Dallas

Pretty sure Dallas is fed up with old non performing stars. (Spezza, Sharp, etc...) As for us, a 2nd rounder (hope we get more than this) is probably better than Ritchie.
  3. [Proposal] VAN-PIT

Pittsburgh need greasy forwards to compliment their 3 stars. Not talented lazy past stars who don't always show up every game.
  4. You're certain Green had input on the trade decision? Didn't Benning fire all the old supporting staffs because he didn't want to listen to any opinions that's different than his? (Lawrence Gilman). Benning also likes to trade away any pre-2014 prospects (the ones he didn't drafted; Yes- that would be Shinkaruk and Subban.) without giving them any legitimate chance at cracking our lineup.
  5. Brendan Gaunce | #50 | C

Oh wow, I didn't know Gaunce has turned into such an important defensive forward. Teams must be cowering in fear to play against us with him anchoring our 4th line shutting them down. He must be one in a kind, being a great defensive forward who can manage to go pointless forever and ever. Any thought about switching Gaunce to defense? Better pony up a multimillion dollar contract for Gaunce based on his great defensive play described in your false reality statement.
  6. Brendan Gaunce | #50 | C

Megna does all of that and does it better. Megna also scores. So are you saying we should bring Megna up? Dunno what's with the blind love for Gaunce on this board. He's had his ice time and didn't prove his stay. He's also just 23 years old and could be better next season. Right now he is just taking away a roster position from guys like Goldobin or Boucher who is more ready than he is.
  7. Brendan Gaunce | #50 | C

Sending him to the AHL is not to help him to score, it is because he is not contributing enough to be a full time NHLer nor is he showing any near-term promise. So Gaunce should now be a project waiting in the AHL until there is an opportunity for him again.
  8. Brendan Gaunce | #50 | C

I like Gaunce but this kid is anti-offense. He needs to spend some time in AHL and give his space to someone like Goldobin when our lineup gets crowded again.
  9. decent deal for the ducks. Does Devils even have forward depth...? they traded away a 20 goal scorer..
  10. [Proposal] VAN - CBJ

Benning first have to kidnap the Columbus's GM's whole family... You forgot to mention that.
  11. Well I was trying to word is generously; because I like Gudbranson's character. The fact is, hes a third pairing D.
  12. rofl sign a guy that cant even manage 10 points a season to 5.5mil per year. People on this board cant be serious. If Gudbranson is any good, and eats heavy minutes, he can easily produce 10 points plus a season (you just need to touch the freaking puck once in a while, not that hard) This is not the case. Florida wouldnt have given up on Gudbranson. We wouldn't be in the discussion if we should give up on him either. He is not a top 4 D. He is a decent middle pairing and should be paid like it. (3-4.5mil max)
  13. lol what...we have already been an inferior team for the last 5 years already. So still have to wait 3-4 years? Any mediocre GM can rebuild a team in 8-9 years. Drafting high is not hard. Unless you draft Virtanen, Juolevi and the yet to be determined Pettersson.
  14. wtf.... is the caps doing? 58 pts last season entering his prime and you trade him away for 2nd and 3rd round picks.....?
