    Yeah me too. I'm a Bruins fan but also a huge Marco Sturm fan so I can't wait to see him play! Need hockey in general so I have something to watch in the evenings haha.

    Watching NHK Just in the Miyagi prefecture alone, it's now expected that the death toll will be in the ten thousands

    Japan Meteorological Agency (気象庁) has changed their initial magnitude report from 8.8 to 9.0

    Just got home (parents' place) and been watching NHK at the moment. The government just had a statement regarding the nuclear power plants. Looks like they're using sea water and a pump to cool the reactors. 9 people so far has the possibility of being exposed to radiation but it seems like it's still not an amount to be overly worried about. 114 people (mostly elderly and sick/disabled) are still left behind. People in the 10km radius have been evacuated since morning. People in the 3km radius have been evacuated already. Sorry if this isn't 'new' news to people.

    Too soon to find out. This all has to settle before anyone can even focus on that at the moment unfortunately. You can literally see people driving/running away from the wave atm. I had a friend who was a peacekeeper. He had to go dig out bodies....this is going to happen in Japan soon. This makes me so sad. My home country being destroyed...

    Epic rain as I'm typing this out haha.

    Yeah, the weather is unpredictable here but at least it doesn't rain for days like Vancouver (trying to look at the positive side of things)

    I moved for a change of scenery. Plus, the industry that I work for (Fitness) is much bigger in Toronto than Vancouver so that was my main reasons.

    But of course being closer to Boston is ...
