  1. Thanks, I tried to find something like that through a google search and I kept getting sent to a TSN page with the standings, and your right, this does show they need to tighten up defensively and puts into perspective just how good Marky and Demko have been
  2. I would really like to see a map of where all the shots come from, I just think people are making way to much out of those shot totals, if they are coming from the perimeter who cares most of the time they are easy saves except when it's Weber like we saw tonight thankfully that's the last time we see him this year.
  3. With the exception of Edmonton, the Canucks have games in hand on the teams around them, they control there own destiny, I would much rather it be that way than hoping for someone to lose to squeak in to the playoffs
  4. Those missed opportunities made the game look a lot closer than it was, the Canucks were the better team, shouldn't have gone to OT but it did and they pulled through, it's great seeing how resilient they are, kept battling back
  5. AC/DC X 5, very rarely do I miss these guys Alice Cooper x 3 Motley Crue x 2 April Wine x 2 Iron Maiden Ozzy Slayer Scorpions Judas Priest ZZ Top, one of the worst bands I've seen live, The Headpins saved that show, Darby Mills is awesome! Yes, ranks right up there as one of the best concerts I've seen I know there is a few more but I can't remember. A lot of fuzzy memories of the 80's lol
  6. After watching the Leafs - Hurricanes game I was wondering how are the Canucks going to top this, then I watched the Canucks game and saw how they topped it.
  7. Marky bailing the team out again, fire the coach...sarcasm, thought it might have been obvious
  8. We have two games in hand, they are only two points up, the boys will catch them.
  9. That was a good all round game tonight, I've been a little hard on Bo but tonight he stepped up, he set the tone, he was a leader tonight. The Canucks control there own destiny, they have two games in hand on Vegas, if they continue with this effort they will make the playoffs.
  10. You have to admit it's a hell of a lot better than watching Willy D, or Alain Vigneault pre Mike Gillis, he has them playing a high tempo, exciting hockey, no system is perfect but I would much rather watch this than a boring sit back and trap system
  11. It's almost like it was his first game with the Canucks
  12. Lake Placid hosted the winter games in 1932 and 1980, L.A. hosted the summer games in 1932 and 1984 and will again in 2028, this will be the fourth time that the state of California hosted the Olympics when you include the 1960 winter games at Squaw Valley, Tokyo hosted the summer games in 1964 and will again in 2020 so it could happen.
  13. What affected him? he really didn't have that bad a game other than the shoot out, that could be from sitting for a week, getting run like he did with no call, I know it was probably his agent saying keep playing the way you have been and you'll be set for life, we just don't know
  14. I don't know about not being in the game at all, The first goal was a deflection off of Tanevs stick, the second was because of a bad line change and weak back check by Toffoli, and the third one, what can you do about that, deflecting off of Stetchers face, just a fluky goal, those happen, he did look a little twitchy in the shoot out, and that could be because he hasn't played in a week. For all we know it was his agent who shut down the contract negotiations, we just don't know.
  15. He probably know that if he has a bad game or two his restaurant wouldn't be that popular anymore
  16. Yes, that's who I see as well, from the videos I've seen of Podz he just doesn't stop, small sample size, yes, but that's who he reminds me of.
  17. Yes, for some reason I thought Heiskanen was coming off his ELC a year before Hughes, that was why I was using him, definitely those other players will factor in to where Hughes and Heiskanen next contract will be. I do like your numbers, if we can sign him at those numbers I think it will really be good for the team.
  18. Absolutely, I didn't mean it would be the deciding factor but something JB and Hughes agent would look at. I can't think off the top of my head of another d-man like that that comes off there elc next year. *I just looked at CapFriendly I see they are both coming off there elc at the same time, for some reason I thought Heiskanen was coming off a year sooner
  19. I think Heiskanen next contract might be one to watch for, see what he signs next year, that might give us a better idea at where Hughes next contract could be.
  20. Yes, I should have been a little more clearer, the expansion fee does not count towards the cap, as far as Hughes next contract, if JB can sign him for a cap hit a little over Provorov's that would a steal I think just based off of Quinn's play this year.
